Prologue

The morning is bright and shiny as always.

They have been living separately for centuries now.

The pack is almost like a city on its own. There are schools, supermarket, resort, name it. All is available.

So no need to associate with the humans.

Sill doesn't mean that some werewolves are not living among the humans.

They are but they are not using their identity as a werewolf.

Dom took in Sophia's lips again. It tasted like cherry every time he kisses it. His hands moved down her soft naked body.

Her eyes went to the alarm clock on the nightstand.

"8am at the dot"

Dom hummed. "It's a Sunday morning. Work free day" he said admiring her face with his blue eyes she love so much to look at.

Sophia nods "I know that. But.....I promise Tamara and Nathan that I will join them in hunting today" she said moving her fingers on Dom's bare chest.

"Cancel"

Sophia scoffed. "No way will I do that"

"I want you in bed with me all through today" Dom said.

Sophia sighs as she sit straight, still on top of him.

His fingers traces down her breasts.

She wants to stay with him all day too but she promised her sister she will join them this morning.

"I wish I could baby"

"Yes you can"

Sophia sighs "I made her a promise. You know how my sister can be"

Dom tuts. "I think it's best you pick between your sister and i"

Sophia laughed "How could you say that? You want me to choose?"

He stare at her. He loves her smile.

The way she speaks.

Everything about her give him some much joy.

"When will you be back?" He asked, putting his hand behind his head and rest on it.

"Hmm....in an hour or two"

Dom tuts "What do you expect me to be doing till then?

"Pack work or something"

"Luca is handling them"

"Assist him then"

Dom raise his brow at her. "Why should I?"

Sophia's shoulder fell "You know you over work our son too much"

Dom scoffed "His grandfather did it to me"

"So you are avenging huh?"

"Not avenging baby. He has to learn things about the pack. He is going to be the next alpha you know?"

Sophia hums.

"Who knows? Something might happen to me anytime."

Sophia arched her brows, feeling her heart react.

"You never can tell. He has to be ready"

"Don't fucking say that. Nothing will happen to you!"

Dom smiled at her worried tone.

"Don't ever say that to me"

Dom bring her closer to his face. He kissed her temple.

"Nothing will happen to me sweetie. Sorry for scaring you"

Sophia sighed.

"I love you" he said

Sophia looked at him. She caressed his cheek, admiring his beautiful diamonds like eyes.

"I love you too"

Dom kissed her palm.

"I have to go"

Dom sighed as she get off him and off the bed.

His eyes roamed her beautiful naked body.

She smiled at him, noticing the way he is checking her out.

Dom wants so much to devour her all over again and again.

"Get back on this bed"

Sophia chuckled. "Not a chance baby. See you in two hours" she said winking at him as she walked seductively towards the bathroom.

Dom sighs.

"It's just two hours man" Dom's wolf said.

"Feels like forever" Dom said.

"Yeah right. Better get to work."

"It's a fucking Sunday"

"And Luca is working all by himself"

Dom sighs. "Fine"

Minutes later.............

Sophia, Tamara and Nathan are on their way towards the woods for hunting.

Sophia is dressed in her black leather jump suit. Her hair is packed in a bun. Tamara is on a red jumpsuit and Nathan is on a black trousers and black shirt. They all have their bows and arrows.

Ready to hurt some wandering animals.

And make some for a feast tonight.

At least that's what Sophia is thinking about right now.

"I thought the alpha won't let you come out on a Sunday morning" Tamara said as they walk deeper into the woods.

Sophia Scoffed. "Just because he is the alpha and my husband doesn't mean he controls my movement"

Tamara hummed.

"Besides I told him I promised to join you both. You know he is an understanding man"

Nathan nods as he focus his bow at something that moved.

So he thought.

"Blackrock is blessed with an Alpha like him" He said shooting an arrow at something.

"Did you get it?" Sophia asked looking the direction Nathan's arrow went. 

"Yeah right. Like he saw anything " Tamara said scoffing.

Nathan sighs.

Sophia gives Tamara a look.

Tamara shrugs.

"Ignore her Nathan" Sophia said.

Tamara scoffed "oh please. I am his mate. He can't ignore me"

"I can. And I am going to" Nathan said giving her a soar look.

Tamara rolled her eyes.

Nathan walked ahead.

Sophia hit her shoulder on Tamara's a bit.

"What?" Tamara asked.

"Stop being a bitch. That's your mate" Sophia said.

Tamara tuts. "Of course he is my mate. How could I have forgotten that sis?" Tamara said, giving a fake smile but frown immediately as they followed Nathan who is ahead of them.

Sophia sighs. "The moon goddess knows best. She has a reason for making him your mate"

"Yeah right. A fucking negative reason"

Sophia arched her brows as she stop her sister from walking.

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"The moon goddess cursed me"

Sophia arched her brow in confusion.

"Why would you say such a thing?"

"Yes. She fucking did. Out of all the men in Blackrock pack, she chose Nathan for me. Have you even met Nathan? He is a total opposite of the type of man I want"

"But ..."

"But you got lucky."

Sophia raise her brow.

"Yes. She blessed you with not just an ordinary werewolf but Dominic. Dominic is a unique werewolf. Hell he is from the alpha family."

Sophia stare at her.

Tamara shake her head "I don't blame you for not knowing how it feels to be with a man you don't want." Tears filled her eyes.

"Tamara....." Sophia called.

Tamara stop her by raising her hand at her.

Sophia sighs feeling bad for her little sister.

"I will talk to him however I want Sophia. Allow me endure this curse the way I want." With that she walk pass Sophia who stood there looking at her.

She really feels terrible for her sister.

She did know that Tamara never liked Nathan.

But she believes that the moon goddess knows what is best for every werewolf.

Nathan is a good person.

She doesn't understand why her sister dislike him.

Sighing, she followed them.

Time passed and they are yet to find any animal.

"Perhaps they mastered our scent and went into hiding" Nathan said.

Sophia chuckled. "I know right?"

"Sick joke" Tamara said rolling her eyes.

Nathan glared at her.

Sophia sighed.
