Dealing in Catania

Salvatore's POV

Although I had asked Matteo to explain to me what the issue might be. He remained mute, with his head down. I could easily ask someone else, but wasn't he supposed to act like the leader that he was? He was the one in charge of Catania's dealings, he should shoulder his responsibilities.

“Matteo, aren't you going to speak?” I asked, trying to control myself before I blast his head off.

“Don, the…” he stuttered, making me arch my brow. Was it that hard to say?

“Matteo…?” I drawled and saw him trembling. I could see the sweat trickling down his forehead as he explained again.

“Don, the shipment movement earlier didn't go as planned” I squinted my eyes at him

“What do you mean?” I asked with my eyes staring squarely at him.

“Someone…, someone, someone seized it, Don”

“Someone seized it” I repeated before letting out a deep chuckle.

“Someone seized my Shipment here in Sicily. Matteo, can you hear yourself?” I asked and saw him with his head bowed, he nodded.

“Who dares?”
