Sofia's POV

I watched as Salvatore picked Enzo up and kissed him like the loving father that he was. The smile on his face was breathtaking, I noticed his eyes sparkle when Enzo kissed his cheeks, and it made me smile.

The resemblance between father and son was more evident when they are smiling or laughing. They both managed to look good.

I began walking towards them to say hello, Salvatore looked at me and I felt my breath hitched in my throat. His gaze made me gulp and flushed also. I turned my eyes away from his intense ones.

The minute I looked up at him again, I saw him squeezing his left palm with a deep frown on his face. Totally different from the expression I had seen earlier. What had caused his mood to change all of a sudden?

“Sofia!” Enzo called, and I smiled brightly at them both. Salvatore smiled back at me, making me arch my brows, were my eyes seeing things? His smile wasn't like the first one, it looked forced.
