Chapter 16 : Nightmares

After having a very hectic day, Val drove back to her apartment. She leaned on the steering wheel and closed her eyes, reluctant to step into her home. She didn’t even celebrate New Year because of work. Now it’s already the end of the month but, Ty is still in his agony because of Mia’s absence.

Val thought maybe New Year can make him feel better but he became even more depressed reminiscing the past because every year on this day Mia would sent him a love note saying how much she loves him and wishes to have a bright future.

Jack didn’t call her after that night. She only got to know about his birthday the next day. Maybe he called to hear her wishes but she is stupid enough to not know his birthday. So what if she doesn’t know, she is not obliged to know about his birthday. That is not the point, he didn’t call her again and it has been two months since he came to her. Is he busy with his new album? Whatever.
