“Had dinner?” asked Val not answering him. Jack shook his head and Val went to prepare something to eat while her parents went to their room to give them space.

Jack sat on the chair near kitchen counter. Why is she not answering his question? He badly needed a shower as he came straight from the interview so he went to shower. He came down after fifteen minutes and Val served his dinner.

After having dinner they both retreated to Val’s room. Jack stood at the door and watched Val setting the bed.

Val tried to stall time but she is nervous because Jack said nothing after asking her about moving out and now he is standing near the door watching her making her uncomfortable.

Val couldn’t take it anymore “Fine!!! I will talk, just stop doing that” said Val sitting on the bed. Jack smirked and sat beside her.
