Addy closed his eyes. The Alpha piled his arms on the table, then looked up for a moment to relax his body. However, after a few seconds passed, what he expected did not happen. Instead of feeling calm, his breath became ragged because his head was full of the image of Serry crying in the business lab room. Addy groaned, trying to drive away the shadow inside his head. However, he can't do it. As a result, his heart throbbed.

Alpha's breath changed rapidly. He was still trying to calm himself, so he didn't feel the hot water coming out of the glass hit his fingers and the back of his hand. Earlier, Addy was waiting for hot water from the coffee machine to fill his glass. However, the hot water came out of his glass because he ignored it for too long. So that the hot water spill spilled out until it hit his arm, which was indeed piled on the table.

“Oh my God. Have you gone mad, Addy,” shouted the petite woman, looking at Addy in horror.

“Huh … what's with your face, Beatrix?” Addy asked, not understanding.

“Stupid. Look what you did. Your hands will scald if you keep daydreaming, Addy!” Beatrix exclaimed in surprise as she shook her white hat-covered head.

Suddenly, Addy opened his eyes when he heard the scream. “Ahh … damn!” Addy cursed. He found Beatrix Phalosa who was the boss where he worked walking quickly towards him with a super worried look in her brown eyes.

“Addy, what's wrong with you. It's not like you usually daydream like this.” Beatrix panicked and immediately took Addy's hand, which was reddened by the hot water.

Addy looked down and saw the sight of his fingers and the back of his hand, which were very red. “That's enough. I'm fine. There's no need to put on a face like that.” The Alpha calmly pressed the off button on the coffee machine until the water stopped flowing. He slowly pulled his hand from Beatrix's small grip gently, then waved his wet hand.

“Didn't you feel the hot water on your hand? Oh … gosh, Addy.” Beatrix stared at the Alpha in front of her in disbelief. She knew if Alpha was strong, but still if they were hit by hot water their hands would also scald.

Addy sighed once again, seeing Omega in front of him overreacting to his hand which was only exposed to hot water.

“You need medicine, ointment, or whatever. Hey … where is the medicine box!” Beatrix shouted to all her café employees. They all shook their heads in unison. “Tcih … how could I forget to put the medicine box?”

The woman with Omega status looked here and there to find a medicine box. Ignoring some people who were enjoying their snacks, Omega had paid attention to it because of her loud scream. Beatrix owns a coffee café, where Addy works part-time to cover living expenses to ease the burden on Alpha's parents. Omega is a kind-hearted figure who is also very busy with her work as a kindergarten teacher, so she can only come to the café at night. So naturally, if Beatrix forgot where to put the medicine box.

Addy chuckled as Beatrix still looked panicked. Even though Omega rarely comes to the café, they often spend time together in their spare time. At that time, they discussed many things. He has considered Beatrix as his guardian angel because when he was having trouble getting a job and everyone insulted him as a useless Alpha. However, Beatrix with open arms told him to work, even though at that time the café's financial situation was bad. Thanks to their hard work, Omega's coffee café has finally become popular with many regular customers. And he got the exemplary employee award from his boss.

“Beatrix, in case you forgot, I am an Alpha. I don't need the medicine you mentioned earlier. I can handle this wound well. So, calm yourself down. You scared all of our customers with your screams!” cried Addy naughty until the Omega furrowed her brow in annoyance.

“Yeah, I know you are an Alpha. However, are you certain if your arm is okay? Are you sure you don't need medicine? Your arm is getting redder, and I'm guessing it's going to scald soon enough,” Beatrix said worriedly. Omega's beautiful face grimaced in horror at the back of Addy's hand. Then her eyes turned to the Alpha in front of her with a look of disbelief.

“Relax, I'm really fine. I will wash this wound of mine with cold water after it will heal.” Addy smiled innocently as he nodded his head confidently. Confirmed that he was fine. This wound on his hand, only faintly felt it. Not like his other wounds.

Beatrix sighed heavily then approached Addy who was washing his hands with cold water.

“This wound doesn't hurt at all. I didn't feel anything on my skin,” said Addy.

“Are you in trouble, Addy?” asked Beatrix.

“No,” Addy said quickly.

“You look panicked. Usually, people will speak quickly when caught lying.” Beatrix focused her gaze on Addy who looked nervous.

The Alpha sighed softly before looking back at the boss. Omega seems to be biting her lower lip. The look on her face looked anxious about his state.

“Don't worry, Beatrix. I can still work well. Become the best barista in this café. And of course, it won't disappoint you and make our customers leave,” said Addy calming the woman in front of him to stop worrying about him.

“That is not what I mean. You stupid!” growled Beatrix. Her little hand smacked Addy's arm with her tiny fist.

Addy laughed softly as the Omega vented her annoyance with a light smack on the shoulder that didn't hurt at all. To be honest, when he was with Beatrix, he would be a little able to forget about the problems of his life. Until he unconsciously felt comfort when Omega was near him. However, for a split second, the laughter stopped. Addy froze as he smelled a very familiar scent. Then he looked around to find where the scent was coming from. The next second, his irises stopped outside the café.

“Addi, what's wrong?” Beatrix asked in surprise.

“I'm allowed to go out for a while because I have important things to take care of,” Addy answered quickly.

“Okay. Hurry back to the café when your business is done!” Beatrix shouted at Addy who had run out of the café.

The Alpha's jaw hardened. His two red hands suddenly clenched into fists when he saw Serry's figure, clearly recorded by his retina. The Omega just got out of the car. It didn't take long for their gazes to meet so that they delivered a sting all over the body. The beautiful Omega looked surprised, with her eyes widening when she met him.

“What are you doing here. Now it's late at night and the air temperature is cold!” Addy shouted angrily.

Serry quickly looked down after hearing the sharp intonation in the cold tone. She bit her lower lip hard. Trying to get rid of the fear and pain in her heart because of the cold tone she got again.

“Addy, you must be angry because I came suddenly to your workplace and didn't ask permission first.” Serry said looking at her Alpha face which stiffened in anger.

“I don't care. Hurry and get out of here. Go back to your warm home.” After saying those words, Addy intended to go back into the café. However, his steps stopped when Serry said something unexpected.

“Would it be wrong, if I wanted to see my Alpha at work and wait for it to finish? I want us to be like any other pair of mates. I also really want you to take me home, just like the other Alphas do to their Omegas!” cried Serry removing all the burdens she wanted to say.

“Oh … so you want that kind of relationship. But, sorry, I can't grant something I can't do. I'm not another Alpha that easily grants all Omega's wishes. You should be aware that our world is different, Serry.” Addy said with an expressionless face.

Omega took a deep breath. Thereafter, she licked her lips, which were suddenly as dry as a fallen leaf. She stared at the face of the Alpha, which is always cold. Addy's sharp eyebrows furrowed slightly, and that scared her at least.

“I-I want to stay here waiting for you to finish work. I'm not concerned about your refusal because I want us to go home together,” Serry stammered nervously. Alpha was silent. It's still staring at her coldly with his eyebrows slowly coming together. Addy obviously didn't expect her to be here. Serry suspects that she will always get a rejection. However, she will not give up. Because she really misses Addy and wants to be with Alpha longer.

“I don't have time to argue with you because none of this matters. Now get out of here!” Addy exclaimed. He chuckled loudly as he looked the other way. “Go home,” he said then.

Serry felt that the Omega inside her had walked into the corner and snuggled into her body. Causing her to unconsciously accumulate clear tears in the corners of her eyes. Serry's tear-filled retina of the eye slowly turned red open. She did not hesitate to show what she felt in her Alpha. Serry wants Addy to know if she is currently really injured. But, it's useless. Addy didn't care at all.

"Don't want to. I will stay …”

“Go!” Addy snapped, interrupting Serry's words.

“N-no, Addy. I-I want to be here. I would like to wait for you,” said Serry pleading. However, Addy didn't hear her plea for nothing. It ended with the clear liquid that had been building up in her eyelids, falling down her cheeks easily.

“I'll take you to the front of your car, if that's what you want!” said Addy while pulling Omega's hand firmly.

“A-addy … I don't want to go home if I'm not with you … sob … I beg you.” In her low sobs, Serry spoke. She walked quickly when Addy pulled her hand. Slightly dragged because the Alpha's steps are so wide. She closed her eyes and let her cheeks wet even more. She felt her heart throb in pain. The Omega inside her had screamed miserably at her Alpha's violent behavior. A second later her retina widened at the sight of the back of her Alpha hand, which was red as if it had been splashed with hot water. Serry quickly looked up, and then her hands quickly wiped away her cheeks that were wet with tears.

“Why are your hands red like this, Addy? What happened.” cried Serry worriedly.

Right after saying that. Addy released his grip.

“None of your business,” Addy said quickly.

“But your hand must be treated quickly; otherwise it will only get worse.” Serry didn't pay attention to Alpha's cruel words because right now, she was worried. Just as she was about to grab the strong hand, but quickly, Addy pulled his hand behind his body.

“Go home.” Addy's command with flat intonation. The alpha exuded his domineering aura so that the Omega body in front of him trembled with fear.

After saying the expulsion sentence, Addy hurried back into the café. Leaving Serry alone with a blank stare that led to her Alpha wide back that had moved away from her sight. She felt, if at this time, her heart returned to bleeding. The omega inside her was again screaming bitterly and curled up in the darkest corner of the room.

Bashiri and Serry officially split up two weeks later. The two of them were no longer husband and wife. It was a sign that Serry was no longer part of the Denward clan. This is certainly good news for the Benson family because their daughter has found her happiness again. Serry decides to stay with Addy in Baremod for a long time. “Does my bite still hurt?” asked Addy. His big fingers stroked the neck of his Omegas, which had traces of his bite marks last night when they were mating. “No,” Serry replied in a murmuring voice, as her beautiful face sank into Addy's broad chest. They were enjoying their time together in a long chair facing directly into the forest. That night, the night sky was gorgeous; the crescent moon shone brightly, and the stars were beautifully studded in the sky. They enjoyed the evening accompanied by a glass of latte and a moon cake. It is soon to be winter, so the night air is colder than usual. “I'm hoping my knot from last night works out right away,” Add

Bashiri walked back and forth looking for Serry's whereabouts; she did not go home. The Alpha was surprised when he woke up and did not see his wife. He checked the CCTV, but Serry was nowhere to be seen. He rubbed his face and sat on a lawn chair. His vision looks forward to the fate of his marriage, which is not progressing; they live as if in a different world where Serry is always silent and he does not dare to do much because he realizes the fault lies with him. “Your wife didn't say anything before leaving?" Irine was sitting next to Bashiri, who looked confused. She patted her cousin's shoulder with a sad face. “She didn't say anything to me." Bashiri replied softly. Irine, who felt sorry for her cousin's condition, explained, "If you have a problem with your wife, it would be best to quickly resolve it. I don't want to interfere in your marriage problems, but seeing you like this, you have to quickly find a solution to the problem." Bashiri pulled his cousin's hair to pro

Serry walked slowly in the woods that were behind Addy's mansion. Several times she wiped away her tears using her arm. She wasn't concerned about the heat that radiated all over her body because the pain in her heart was more dominant. She stopped her footsteps, then turned her head back where Addy's mansion stood majestically. Furthermore, she bit her lip harder when her sensitive parts felt so painful. “Ah… this time of heat is really torturing me.” Serry sat her ass under a big tree. Resting her weak body because of heat's time that was so tormenting her body and psychic. Serry was no longer able to walk because she used her energy to suppress her pheromone so that it would not spread throughout the direction. She faintly saw someone approaching her. “Serry, are you okay?” Addy guiltily hugged his Omega's tightly. Then he put the quilt on Serry's body. “What are you here for? Don't care about me anymore, I don't need your sweet remarks that feel like poison to me. Let me rest u

The sound of the night beasts interlocking each other made Serry unable to close her eyes. How hard she tried to rest her tired body, but her mind kept falling on someone who came from her past. Her arrival to Baremod was for a vacation after she successfully graduated from college. Serry was so amazed by the beautiful nature of Baremod, so she walked herself into the forest. While she was engrossed in enjoying the freshness of nature, accidentally, she inhaled a familiar pheromone. She didn't expect that her trip this time brought her back to meet her destiny. Quietly, she got up from the bed and then stepped her feet out of the room. Before closing the door, she looked at Bashiri who was already fast asleep. Her feet stepped quickly in the direction of the flower garden located far behind Irene's house. The look on her face revealed that she didn't like it when she remembered the confession from Irene, who clearly liked Addy. Her head turned in any direction and when she felt saf

The natural atmosphere changed when the sun began to sink on the western horizon. Addy walked leisurely while occasionally drinking the coffee he had just bought in the automatic coffee machine. His sensitive ears clearly heard the knock on the shoes of the woman walking behind him. From the pheromone that broke out in the air, he had already figured out that at this time it must be Irene back to follow him.“Addy, I want to be friends with you!” exclaimed Irene loudly while carrying a shopping bag in her hand. She had a little trouble stepping because she also carried a large flower. He sighed harshly when he saw Irene walking like a snail. With a heavy heart, Addy took the shopping bag in Omega's hand.“Where is your home? I'll take you home and bring this bag of yours,” he said with a lazy face.Irene pursed her lips in annoyance. “Answer my question first. Don't take the conversation away.”“I have no intention of being friends with you,” Addy replied casually. Then he handed the
