Coffee was served, a sign that the casual meeting was over. Several men opted out to smoke, while Mike sat quietly on the edge of the sofa, watching Sean, who was still busy studying the files in his hand.

Sean was not a man who could blend in, this man was a loner and his known disposition made people reluctant to approach him. Mike wasn't familiar with Sean, they only talked about business. And when it comes to business, Sean is quite cooperative. Their collaboration has resulted in many benefits for their respective companies.

Mike hesitates to ask Sean about Renee. It seems too strange to discuss the matter here. But his wife—the beautiful Lia—had succeeded in making him promise to do it. Mike cleared his throat, drawing Sean's attention from the files he was groping through.

“We, my wife and I met your lover last night.”

Sean's head shot up as if it had been jerked, he looked at Mike warily. “Oh yeah?” His tone was
