The storm had been coming for days. Sierra felt it in the stillness of the house, in the way Vanessa’s smile stretched too tight, in the way Damien’s eyes hardened when her mother lingered in a room. Something was shifting, and the ground beneath her feet felt less like solid earth and more like cracking ice.

That afternoon, Vanessa called them both into the living room. Her voice was calm, almost musical, as if this were nothing more than a family gathering. But when Sierra walked in and saw the manila envelope sitting neatly on the coffee table, her knees nearly buckled.

Vanessa sat back in her chair, one leg crossed elegantly over the other. She lifted her glass of wine, swirling the deep red liquid as if she had all the time in the world. “I thought it would be nice,” she said smoothly, “if we cleared the air.”

Damien’s jaw tightened. “What is this?”

Vanessa’s lips curved faintly. “A collection. Something that caught my eye. You know me I notice things.”

She reached for the envelo

  • Don't Stop, Daddy   Chapter 56: The Price Of Silence

Silence had weight. It wasn’t just the absence of words. It was a burden, pressing heavy against Sierra’s chest, curling around her throat until she had to remind herself to breathe. For years, she had lived in it obediently, quietly, the perfect daughter. Vanessa had taught her that silence was elegance, the mark of discipline, the armor of survival. Damien had shown her that silence was submission, the way desire could be coaxed with nothing more than a look, a command, a rope cinched tighter. But now… silence was something else.It was power.Hidden beneath her mattress, folded inside her sketchbook, were the papers she had stolen proof of her mother’s manipulations, proof of Damien’s involvement. They burned in her memory, whispering possibilities she wasn’t ready to face. The silence she carried was no longer empty. It was dangerous. And with it came a price.Vanessa’s summons came the next morning. The solarium gleamed with golden light, glass panes dripping with dew, flowers bl

  • Don't Stop, Daddy   Chapter 55: Proof In Her Hands

The house was too quiet. It wasn’t the calm of safety, but the silence of something coiled and waiting. Sierra felt it in every step she took down the polished hallway, her heels tapping too loudly on the marble floor. The night air was thick with tension, as though the walls themselves were holding their breath.Vanessa had left earlier that evening for a private dinner with board members of one of her charities. Damien had retreated into his study, locked behind dark oak doors, the sound of his voice low and clipped when he answered calls. Sierra should have been relieved by their absence. Instead, she felt restless.Caught. Always caught. She sat at her desk with her sketchbook open, pencil in hand, but the page remained blank. Each line she tried to draw twisted into another rope, another chain, another reminder of the snares tightening around her. Damien’s voice still lingered in her ear from the night before You’re mine, not hers. Her mother’s smile echoed just as loudly as Loya

  • Don't Stop, Daddy   Chapter 54: The Snare Tightens

The snare was closing. Sierra could feel it in every breath she took inside that house. Invisible threads wound tighter around her with each passing day, pulling, binding, choking. She had thought the worst had already come the refusal, the retaliation, the diamonds at her throat. But she was wrong. That had only been the beginning. Now, every move felt orchestrated. Every word, every silence, every gesture was caught in a web Vanessa spun with deliberate care. And Damien he was no savior, no liberator. His protection came with chains of its own, heavier and more intoxicating than her mother’s.The snare wasn’t just Vanessa’s. It was his, too. And Sierra was caught between them, unable to breathe, unable to break free… yet unwilling to step away.Vanessa’s retaliation came first.“You’re going to accompany me tonight,” she announced, her tone leaving no room for refusal. She stood at the vanity, fastening diamond earrings that caught the light like blades. “There’s a charity gala. You

  • Don't Stop, Daddy   Chapter 53: A Calculated Retaliation

The silence in the Steele household was no ordinary silence. It was layered sharp like glass, heavy like stone. Each footstep, each creak of the wooden floor seemed to echo louder than it should, as if the house itself was listening, waiting, recording. Sierra had never hated that silence more than she did now.She had said no. For the first time, she had turned her face from Vanessa’s carefully laid trap, refusing to bend under the weight of manipulation. A small word, a fragile defiance but it had changed the air between them.Vanessa had smiled when she heard it, her lips curving in that delicate, razor-sharp way. “Of course, darling,” she’d said, voice smooth as silk, as if Sierra’s refusal was nothing at all. But Sierra had seen the flicker in her mother’s eyes. A flash of cold steel, promising that the game was far from over. Now, the retaliation had begun. At first, it was almost invisible.Vanessa’s control never came in screaming fits or overt punishments that weren’t her sty

  • Don't Stop, Daddy   Chapter 52: The Power Of No

The night stretched long and suffocating, every corner of the penthouse charged with invisible currents. Sierra felt it in her bones then the weight of secrets pressing against her chest, stealing the air from her lungs. She sat cross-legged on her bed, hair tumbling loose around her shoulders, the city glowing beneath her window like a constellation of sins. The glass reflected a girl she barely recognized anymore. Pale, hollow-eyed, caught between desire and ruin.A knock came at the door. Her heart leapt. She knew that knock was measured, deliberate, heavy with authority.“Open the door, Sierra,” Damien’s voice rumbled. Her fingers tightened around the sheet. She hesitated, torn between longing and fear. When she didn’t answer, the door opened anyway.Damien stepped inside, suit jacket draped over his arm, shirt unbuttoned at the collar. His presence filled the room, commanding as ever, the green in his eyes cutting through the dim light like a blade.“You’ve been avoiding me,” he

  • Don't Stop, Daddy   Chapter 51: Shadows Of Evidence

The morning after the storm broke felt deceptively calm. The Steele mansion was flooded with soft light, golden sun streaming through the high windows, spilling across marble floors. The house, grand and pristine as always, looked untouched by the words that had scorched its walls the night before. But Sierra knew better. She sat at the kitchen counter, staring into a mug of untouched coffee, her fingers trembling around the porcelain. Sleep had eluded her, when she closed her eyes, she saw Vanessa’s smile, sharp and knowing, her words echoing like a curse. Even you can’t control her forever. The footsteps came before the scent of his cologne. Damien entered, immaculate as always. Dark tailored suit, silver cufflinks gleaming, not a hair out of place. His expression was unreadable, green eyes cool and sharp. But Sierra had lived long enough under his gaze to recognize what hid beneath. Tension. Fire. A fortress with cracks running through its stone.“Eat.” Damien’s tone was firm but d
