At his statement, she realized there was no escaping the party. Her senses were alert with rising anxiety that she was struggling to control.

She could feel his fingers caressing her ringed finger. He lifted her hand and planted a kiss there.

The ride became silent as they continued to the hostel.

Boma's mind was pondering her situation. She didn't think she needed to worry as much.

She recalled that Fidelis told her to strike her name off the list at her faculty. Or was the same list pasted at the pin board of all the other faculties?

Even if it was, perhaps somehow, Donovan would have found out already. Knowing his hot temper, he would not be so calm right now.

She resolved to call Fidelis and find out as soon as possible. She could not afford to leave everything to chance and suffer for it later.

Soon enough the car parked outside her hostel.

"Ok, here we are." said Donovan. "We will be waiting here. Meanwhile, expect an apology from that Sandra girl. Understand?"
