"Tess." Regal knocked softly on Tess's door. He tried to go in a few times but she had it locked from the inside.

"Don't hurt yourself alright, be good." He said and left reluctantly after a long time of contemplation.

Tess walked into her room, locked the door behind her and slid down with her back against the door.

She felt the devil with her manifest once more. The first time was when she got a call from a strange number after her journey to the US, a few days after her divorce to Ruben.

The caller behind the unknown number told her he had information about her dead mother, hearing this, Tess's ears piqued and he garnered her interest. Her father had never said much about her mother, she only knew her mother was no more and buried 6 feet in the cold ground at a gated fancy mortuary.

Tess honored his invitation and went to the location they agreed on.
