Chapter 16: Intruders

Draco had just finished his training when he heard a loud explosion not far from where he was standing. He saw Al darted from inside the house and ran across him to where the explosion was headed. Edmund was also seen jumping from the window and running after Al. Draco's feet automatically ran after Edmund.

BLAR!

There was another explosion accompanied by screams of pain from the direction of the gate. There were several footsteps hastily toward the gate. It looked like the knights guarding the Brighton Mansion area had already headed in front of the gate to prevent any intruders from entering by force. Even so, Edmund could feel a strong magic power near the gate. In all likelihood, the knights would not be able to last longer in battle. The Brighton family's knights did have the power of magic swords using aura, but their level of magic power was still low. If they had to face sorcerers, it would be difficult for them to win.
