Chapter-1

'Hmm, I bought all the things you said...... Yeah coming' she hang up her phone making her way towards garden where a little party is oraganise as it is the last of summer vacation and the last of their freedom.

She look around ,there so many people some are going for their work ,  few kids are playing on roads and a group of women near grocery store gossiping about other's life. Heaving a big sigh she put her headphones on .Sometimes she really wonder how they come outside at this time during noon when the sun is at its peak just for useless gossips . If not for the party she never take a step out of her den . 

 She is walking peacefully closing her eyes , feeling the rythm. But soon the weather started changing , clouds out of nowhere come and in no time cover the whole sky .

Darkness erupt in the mid noon, wind started blowing at a fast pace .The crowd of people started disappearing slowly but she remain unfazed enjoying the touch of cold wind on her face but soon a frown appear on her forehead sensing something unusual. Opening her eyes she look around finding not a single person there and deep unusual silence. 

'I think it's gonna rain that's why they gone' mumbling to herself she turned .A gasp left from her lips when she saw a dark shadow there and disappear in a blink, making her step back in horror. Her eyes widen , heartbeat race as she survey but nothing was there now. She blink few times before heaving a sigh.

'I shouldn't have seen horror movies' mumbling she move forward thinking of it as a daze.

Again turning her headphones on , she increased, her pace as she wants to reach to her friends as soon as possible, this Erie silence creeping the hell out of her. She just take few steps when her phone ding make her startled,taking out from pocket she read the message ,a small smile spread on her lips seeing her friends message making her forget about the current situation.

"How's long you gonna take principesaa? Should I send you my horse ?"

She smile reading the message as she can hear her friends sarcasm through it.

"I'm coming in 10 mins ,wait a little bit more and control your horses",after writting she put her phone back in her pocket but her smile dropped in a second when a shadow cross her ,making her gasp. Her head snap up with a jerk as she see the way the shadow gone but no ,there is no one again.

Shaking her head she started walking through dark as the sky turned pitch black and adding to her misery the street lights are also not working . Now she curse the moment she came outside. 

'There is nothing Era, it's just your imagination. Cool down there is nothing to be afraid of. Ghost are not living it's just in books' calming herself while walking and she look here and there for someone but no there is not a single soul. It's seems like human didn't stay here.

Walking fast she finally reach a block away from her hostel. A wave of relief spread across her face. But her relief is her real pain. 

She heard footsteps behind her. Sweat beads started forming on her forehead, heart beat thundered .She wants to turn back but didn't, as the experience from horror movies is alot, so decide to walk forward ignoring the sound. But soon the sound of footsteps started increasing. Dreaded to her core she took a left turn hoping that whatever it is might not follow her. She walk and walk and walk without thinking , she even drop her bag but did it matter, NO. Finally after walking for don't know how long she stop ,she had no idea where she is going . Her main focus is to get away from that voice ,her sound of breathing heard clear in the silence. She can hear her heartbeat drumming in her ear. But to her relief that footsteps didn't follow her anymore. A wave of relief flow on her.

"It must be a person"she thought. Wants to confirm irks she turn around but the next moment her whole system froze, eyes come out of her socket and a loud scream escape from her mouth.

There is a big dark shadow hovering over her and a growling sound come from that. She stay rooted to her place too shock too move. It's like that thing is hypnotysing her she wants to move but can't. Her heart fell into the pit of her stomach when a hand come out from that shadow and wrapped around her neck, choking her. She felt breathless by every second but can't even able to move her hands. Her face turn complete red and breathe started getting slow.

Her Eyes roll back and a lone tear escape from her eyes directly fall on her pendant making the blue stone shine. She gave up and just when she was  about to black out the monster was pushed by a heavy force. She stumble back few steps before falling on the ground with a thud , wrapping her hands around her neck she started taking big gulps of air filling her lungs. Her chest going up and down fastly. Finally after few seconds, gathering her strength back she open her eyes meeting with the dark blue ones same as her pendant, looking at her in worry.

'Are you okay'? he ask in his deep concerned voice.

'Hmm', she replied nodding her head in relief. A frown appear on her forehead as she look here and there to find that monster when a loud growl hear from behind snatching her peace as the fear started creeping in her veins. Gulping down she look up but the men in front of her long gone and started showering punches on the creature pushing him back . She stood up on her feet , gasping with her hands on her mouth when the shadow like creature fight back. The scene is too unreal yet horrifying for her. Her Train of thought break when her hand come in a tight steel like grip making her head snap towards his direction.

'We have to run before he wake up' he said taking fast steps in front holding her arm. She on the other hand confuse at his word look back only to find that creature on the ground. Her eyes come out of her socket thinking who that creature is and more on who that person is .

She stare at his broad back as he kept on dragging her with him at high speed. She had a lot of questions with a lot of fear so shutting her mouth for a whole seems better idea. Also this men doesn't seem much dangerous as he saves her life after all so following him is not a bad idea. They are walking continously as the dark clouds started fading and her legs also started giving up.

"I'm tired I can't walk further" she said taking her hand out from his hold .

He look around for a second before nodding his head.

"I think you are safe now. You can take some rest here" he said pointing at the stool near a shop.

Just when she sit a loud growl heard again making her stand up in a split second. A shriek escape from her lips when she was pulled with a sudden force on her right side in a space between two buildings ,a hand wrap around her waist and other on her mouth to shut her up. The creature pass on the straight road while she stood there held her breath completely trapped between the wall and her saviour. 

"He's gone", he said seeing her shutting her eyes tightly.

Releasing a big huff, she open her eyes to meet his finding him already staring at her light brown eyes with his dark blues ones.

"Who are you?" she asked finally.

" You do not need to know" he replied curtly. A frown appear on her face but before she ask anything further the clouds start splitting she look up finding  the sun come up in all its glory again making the darkness disappear. Curious to see his face she look down but then.

SPLASH.

A bucket of water fall on her face, gasping she wake up.
