Chapter 33: Slumber Party

It was 2 am on a Sunday when Gigi called Liz. The orange-haired had been sleeping for at least three hours when her phone started ringing and woke her up. Rubbing her eyes, she quickly sat in her bed ready to leave her house if Gigi would ask her to.

"Liz?" Gigi squeaked. She sounded concerned and Liz got scared. Gigi always had a secure tone while speaking and hearing her voice tremble made Liz think that something had happened.

"Geeg, are you okay?" Liz did not usually first react to situations by feeling scared but everything was different when it came to Gigi and her well-being.

"What are you doing?" Gigi was divided between two things. She needed Liz but she also felt like calling her out of nowhere at 2 a.m was kind of inappropriate.
