"Fenris, what the hell do I do?" I mind linked him, stepping back from the Alpha's whose stares were all centered on me. Being just a powerful she-wolf was enough to make me a viable non-fated mate to most Alphas, add in a claim to the second most powerful pack in the world and I knew many here would attempt to get their hands on me at any cost.
"Run Evangeline, we got your back!" Fenris shouted through link, seconds before he, Julien, Lila, and Link surrounded me.
I looked down at Alaric, my command had worn off and he was now standing, staring around him, clearly not having expected what was about to happen. "You idiot." After our trip to see Julian in the dungeons and get his reasoning behind attempting to mark me without permission, we still had over an hour until the next fight took place, and thanks to werewolf stamina, we were all hungry. Deciding to get out of the hotel for a brief time we all headed out. There were dozens of restaurants close enough that we did not need to bring the cars around, and instead walked the short distance to a pizza place.
