Two Weeks Later

The doctor announced that Isabella could be discharged from the hospital after the casts were removed and a thorough checkup was done.

The previous day before she left the hospital, people from work who were led by Miriam came to visit her and wish her a speedy recovery. Bella was looking all better by then and she appreciated their visit in return.

The following day she was to be discharged, her three friends came around to assist her as she had to be wheeled out in a chair.

Bella’s friends were very happy to take their daughter home and also couldn’t stop thanking Richard for all his help, especially financially. He had settled all the bills in the hospital.

“You should come with us to enjoy my home-cooked lunch,” Mrs. Smit urged with a smile that reached her eyes.
