I didn’t expect mom to readily agree to my leaving WhiSare, especially during the crisis going on, and truly she wasn’t ready to believe the lie I told that I needed a vacation in dad’s summer villa just yet. She stood over me like an overprotective mama bear watching me pack my bags later that night asking if Cara knew I was leaving, if it was necessary for me to go, if my leaving had anything that do with the missing persons and frankly I wanted to tell her the truth but what good would it do when it would only increase her anxiety and overprotective mama bear instincts?
