{Liam’s POV}

“I need to speak with you.”

I was shaken by Prince Liam’s voice, but at the same time, I was happy to see him—to see that he was okay, I mean.

“Are.. are you okay?” I asked him, staring at the point where he was slashed. He wasn’t putting on a shirt so with his presence, so many Combatants— my gender, were staring, and I didn’t want to be part of ‘the crowd’ so I looked back at his face to continue showing my concern.

But then his response made me wish I hadn’t.

“So you care.” He said plainly and I grew a withdrawn expression of shock on my face.
