Cassandra was out of breath as she ran toward the towering Chen Corporation building. Of all days, her alarm clock had to break on the very morning of an important meeting. Now she was running late, struggling to keep hold of the stack of documents in her arms while trying not to trip in her high-heeled sandals.

“Good morning!” She greeted her coworkers as they passed by and greeted her in return.

“Wait!” she shouted when she saw the elevator doors about to close.

The people inside held the elevator for her, but just as she approached, the documents she was carrying slipped from her hands and scattered across the floor.

“Shit! Why do these documents have to fall when I’m in such a hurry?”

She quickly knelt to gather them. Someone kindly bent down to help, but she was too focused on picking up the papers to look at who it was.

“Here,” the stranger said after helping her collect everything.

“Thanks!” she replied, finally looking up—only to freeze in shock.

“Oh my God!”

Of all the people she could run into, it had to be the man she had shared a one-night stand with.

He was staring at her too, looking just as stunned as she was.

“Ma’am, are you getting in?” the elevator operator asked.

“Y-Yes!”

She hurried into the elevator without looking back at him.

As the elevator doors slowly closed, she caught him staring at her once again. Her heart pounded wildly, as if it might burst from her chest.

Why is he here?

She took a deep breath. Whatever happened, she could not let that man become a distraction today.

She hurried toward her boss’s office. Her boss had been at the company for quite some time and was waiting for her. But when she entered the office, it was empty.

She immediately called her boss.

“Boss, I’m here.”

“Come to the boardroom. The general meeting has already started,” her boss replied.

“Yes, Boss.”

She slapped her forehead.

“Shit! This is so embarrassing. Everyone’s waiting for me,” she muttered to herself.

Taking another deep breath, she headed for the boardroom. Even before reaching the door, she could hear someone speaking inside.

Carefully, she opened the door as quietly as possible and searched for her boss. The moment she spotted her, she hurried over without looking around the room.

“Boss, I’m sorry!” she said, handing over the documents.

“It’s okay,” her boss replied shortly.

“Thank you.”

She let out a sigh of relief. At least she wasn’t being scolded.

“Eladia, where is your brother? It’s time to introduce him,” the company owner said.

“I’m here, Dad!”

The voice came from behind them.

Everyone turned toward the speaker.

“Abraham!”

Cassandra’s eyes widened the moment she recognized him.

“Oh my God! This can’t be happening,” she whispered.

“Dad, Mom,” he said as he walked toward her boss. “Hello, Sis.”

But his eyes never left Cassandra.

“You almost didn’t make it on time,” her boss remarked.

“Small world, Miss Yummy,” Abraham said, his voice low enough for Cassandra to hear.

“Come on, Abraham. She’s my personal secretary,” her boss said.

“Hello. My name is Abraham. And you are?”

He extended his hand toward her, his gaze lingering on her.

“H-Hi, Sir. My name is Cassandra,” she stammered, shaking his hand.

“I’ve been looking for you for a long time. I’m happy I finally found you.”

A strange jolt shot through her body when he lifted her hand and kissed her palm.

She couldn’t even pull her hand away.

“D-Do I know you, Sir?” She lied.

His expression darkened.

She immediately looked away, feeling as though she were sitting in the hottest seat imaginable. She desperately wanted the awkward moment to end.

“We are pleased to announce the new president of this company! My son, Abraham Chen.”

The room erupted into applause.

“Stay here,” Abraham whispered to her before walking away.

Cassandra released a long breath.

She had given her virginity to the new president of the company.

What the heck!

She had thought he was just an ordinary bar vocalist, but she had been completely wrong.

“For the first time, I think my brother will actually enjoy working at this company and that’s because of you, Cassy,” her boss said with a smile.

“Doomsday,” Cassandra thought miserably.

****

“Cassy, they said you're being called to Mr. Hot President's office,” said Beth, one of the company employees.

Cassy raised an eyebrow, looking at her. “Who's the Hot President?” she asked, playing innocent.

She already knew who Beth was referring to, of course. Earlier, right after the new president was introduced, he had become the talk of the entire company. She was well aware of the nickname they had given him: Mr. Hot President.

“Our new President!” Beth gushed, practically beaming with excitement.

“Okay... why is he calling for me?” Cassy had been actively avoiding him ever since she found out he was her new boss.

Beth shrugged. “I don't know. Sir Jorge just passed the message along when I bumped into him. You should go, maybe he found a flaw in the document you submitted.”

“Why me? Boss Eladia is the one who handles that and she was the one who revised it.” Cassy frowned, mentally running through the paperwork she had turned in.

“Gosh, just go down there so you can find out! I don't know why he called you either, so just obey.” Beth answered, annoyed.

Sighing, Cassy stood up to head to their new boss’s office. She knocked gently before opening the door. The moment she stepped inside, her heart began to beat wildly against her ribs.

“Good afternoon, Sir.”

He was currently buried in the stack of papers piled high on his desk—likely the reports her department had submitted earlier.

“Hi, Yummy,” he said, smiling.

Cassy swallowed hard at his smile and immediately looked down, unable to meet his gaze. She remained standing frozen in front of him.

“Pardon, Sir?” she feigned, pretending not to have heard him.

He had called her Yummy, and she knew exactly why he used that name but she needed to pretend he was a complete stranger to her.

His eyes narrowed. Standing up, he walked over until their skin was nearly touching. She could smell his breath, a scent that instantly sent a strange, simmering warmth rushing through her.

“You can’t remember me?” he asked.

She shook her head. “Have I met you before, Sir?” She lied.

“Do you really think I’m going to fall for your stupid alibi?”

Cassy swallowed again and squeezed her eyes shut tightly. She had to convince him that she didn't know him.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, Sir. If that’s the only reason you brought me into your office, I’m sorry, but I have to go.” She took a step back to gain leverage and turn around, but before she could make her move, he pulled her back and pinned her against his office wall. He caged her in with both hands resting against the surface, blocking any chance of escape.

He stared down at her. “I went crazy when you left me.” He traced her face with his gaze, as if memorizing every detail. “I missed you so much.”

“S-Sir—”

“I fucking missed you.”

Before she could speak another word, he captured her lips, devouring them in a desperate, demanding kiss while holding her tight, as if he would never let her go again. Cassy froze under his touch. The memory of what had happened between them in that hotel room came flooding back in a relentless wave.

Her heart pounded so loudly she could barely hear anything else.

“Kiss me back,” he whispered against her mouth.

Slowly, she raised her hands and wrapped them around his neck, finally returning the kiss. It was impossible to keep pretending she didn't know him, not when her own body refused to cooperate.

Ohh...” she heard him groan as she surrendered to his touch.

Before she realized it, his lips were pressing against the curve of her chest. She clamped her mouth shut to hold back a moan… a reaction Abraham didn't miss. He licked the side of her ear and whispered, “Don't hold back your moans. Please... let me hear you. It drives me crazy.”

“I'm afraid someone will hear,” she whimpered.

Abraham paused his kisses for a brief second to look her in the eyes. “I'm taking you somewhere where only I can hear you moan.”

He scooped her up into his arms, kissing her deeply as he carried her.

“Wait! My clothes...” she gasped, realizing her clothes had been left scattered behind.

“Don’t worry about your clothes,” he murmured. “Just focus on me.”

She nodded, her grip tightening around his neck. Moments later, he opened a door inside the office, revealing a stunning bedroom. She could feel the plush softness of the mattress as Abraham laid her down. He hurriedly shed his clothes, his gaze never leaving her bare body.

She swallowed hard at the sight of his naked form. Now she realized just how drunk she must have been before; his physique was far more breathtaking than what she remembered through her hazy, intoxicated eyes. She wanted to pull him close and shower him with kisses, desperate to extinguish the fire he had ignited within her. He hovered over her, his intense gaze locked onto hers.

“Cassandra, you make me crazy,” he rasped.

His words sounded like music to her ears, prompting her to pepper Abraham’s lips with kisses. “I want you, Mr. Hot President. Bring me to seventh heaven,” she whispered.

He captured her lips in a deep kiss while his right hand roamed down her body, finding her sensitive center before sliding his finger inside. Her soft moan echoed throughout the room. She had to admit, she had never experienced passion this intense back when Vincent was still her boyfriend. She didn't want to miss a single second with Abraham; every touch of his lips sent a wave of heat coursing through her.

She gasped and moaned repeatedly from the overwhelming pleasure until he finally drove his seven-inch length inside her. The moment he filled her, another groan escaped her lips. He set a steady, relentless rhythm above her, their lips remaining locked together as they moved. Driven by sheer passion, she bit down gently on his lower lip.

“Ohhh!” she moaned.

“Ahhh!” Abraham groaned as they reached the peak together.

Exhaustion washed over them both afterward. She rolled onto her side, turning her back to him. As the fire in her body died down, reality crept back in, highlighting her foolishness. She was having sex with a man who wasn't her boyfriend—bound together in this bed by nothing more than pure, unadulterated lust.

“Why did you leave back then? Didn't I tell you to wait for me?”

She swallowed hard and squeezed her eyes shut. “There was no need to wait, because all I wanted was a one-night stand with you,” she replied.

“I went crazy looking for you. And here you are... stay with me,” he urged.

She turned to face him, meeting his gaze head-on. “Stay with you? Stay with you as what? a sex partner?” She let out a dry laugh.

He sighed. “That’s not my point.”

She sat up, clutching the sheet to cover her bare body. “You’re not my boyfriend. I'll admit I'm sexually attracted to you, which is probably why I couldn't stop you because I wanted it, too.”

“I like you, too,” he said.

She laughed aloud. “You like me in bed. Well, I could certainly tell every time you gasped my name whenever we reached climax. But don’t expect me to just let you have your way. This is our last sexual contact, Mr. Chen. I hope we can just forget everything. Forget we ever met.”

She stepped out of the bedroom, shaking her head at the sight of her clothes scattered across the floor. She picked them up one by one and headed to the bathroom to dress. She took only a quick sponge bath; her coworkers would suspect something if she walked out with wet hair. Once dressed, she reapplied her makeup.

“Cassandra,” he called her name. He was standing right in front of her, likely waiting there the entire time for her to step out of the restroom.

“Yes, sir,” she addressed him formally.

“I will not forget the night with you.”

She held his gaze. “I would rather leave this job and find something new.”

“You won't do that,” he said.

“I can!” she shot back.

He sighed. “Fine, I’ll treat you as my employee here. But outside this company, you’re my Cassandra… and you will be mine.” Before she could react, he captured her lips in a swift kiss before turning his back on her.

“Pervert!”

“Okay, back to work, my dear employee.”

She slammed his office door shut behind her, then took a deep breath to calm the tension gripping her chest.

I have to keep in mind that you are my boss, and I’m just an employee of yours.

Cassandra looked up, reading the name of the club where she had just stepped out over and over again. She still couldn’t believe she had managed to land a gig here. She had assumed it was just some cheap, low-end bar looking for a singer. No wonder she had been so surprised by the unusually high talent fee they paid her for tonight—it turned out to be a high-end disco bar.She walked over to the security guard and introduced herself as the bar's featured singer. The guard let her in right away and led her to the dressing room, where she would meet the band she was going to duet with and practice their setlist."Good thing you made it, Ms. Cassandra. We couldn't reach our vocalist," said the male guitarist, Ted.She offered a polite smile. "They're paying me too well to just not show up," she replied."I see... so let's go! Let's practice the songs we'll be performing later."She nodded and followed them. Their repertoire consisted entirely of new hits, and on top of that, they had to
