CHAPTER FOUR

"So tell me a little bit about yourself " chloe smiled at her date as she asked him out of curiosity.

No normal bartender could be able to rent out a high class restaurant yet alone pick her up in a very expensive suv. There was a story and Chloe needed know.

"(Chuckles) well how vast is your knowledge on the Channings?" He asked

"Well all I can say is that they own majority of Canada,why do you ask?"chloe replied

"They are my parents"

"Wow, I'm baffled" chloe said a little surprised at her self for not recognizing the son of her biggest rival. 

"so why exactly are you working in a bar?" She asked further

"The same reason you won't tell the world who you are, miss chloe who runs the world" William seems to know more than he should.

"How on earth did you get that information that totally isn't true" Chloe tried denying the fact that what William said was the truth 

"You told me yourself "

"That's impossible"

"Let's just that alcohol ain't your thing at all, the other night when you got drunk I had to take care of you, I couldn't just leave a pretty girl all alone in a bar filled with horny bastards. Then you started talking about your life and everything and I knew from then that what was said had to remain between just us two" William explained 

"I cannot believe I just gave out the biggest secret of my life to a complete stranger" she puts her hand on her face as a sign of disappointment.

"Well then let's even the score..." William said

And just like that William and Chloe exchanges stories about their lives and opens up to each other. Chloe had this sense of comfort she had never felt with anyone else and she liked that feeling. William mentioned that he was home schooled and chloe advised that he checked out "Empire Academy" it was the best of the best after all and why wouldn't she promote her business.

"Well it's going to take a lot of convincing but I will speak to my parents about your offer." William said to her regarding her take on the issue relating to his home schooling. 

"I assure you, you will not regret it" chloe smiled 

"I know"

The following week at school

"So how was your date" Cami asked with curiosity all over her expression

"It was...interesting, it turns out that he is the only son of the Channing" Chloe mentioned.

"OH MY GOD, William Channing? As in never been seen or caught on camera before William Channing ????"

"Yep"

"Why on earth was he working in a bar?"

"Cause he likes it there, you have to promise not to mention anything about this to anyone"

"Cross my heart. I cannot believe you went on a date with the William Channing"

"I don't see the big deal there"

"You don't see the big deal?? He's a f$$$$g semi- god, everybody wants him"

"Why?" Chloe didn't really see why cami was making a fuss over him, I mean he's human too.

"Chloe you are killing me here"cami said as she sighed "Anyways, I made mention about our school to him and he said he'd catch me up on that offer, hopefully he does. I've been waiting for him all day""

Oh I hope he does" Cami added

It was the end of the school day and William was no show, Chloe was so disappointed, hell she was pissed. No one stands her up, no one turns down her 

offer not even the so called William Channing. She went home angry. Chloel later received a voicemail from William explaining why he didn't show up but that wasn't enough to ease her anger, no, it only made her more angry. She knew it was too good to be true to begin with. Days later chloe had finally removed the

name William from her mind and was ready to move on with her life.

"Hey chloe" Theo from behind said as he

sat beside her.

"Hi, what's up with you"

"I've been meaning to ask you something"

"And that is?"

"Will you go out with me, like on a date?"

"You're kidding right?"

"No, I know we didn't start off on the right foot but I've grown to really like you"

"So you decided you want to go out with me the same person you tried to blackmail?"

"So sorry about that but yes"

"I like your confidence, I'll go out with you" 

"Great"

Chloe and Theo started dating and Chloe actually started to fall for the him.

"What do you think about having a party at school?"

Theo asked chloe 

"Like a school dance?" 

"Yes"

"That's not a bad idea, let's have a school dance then. Let me just make a quick tweet about it to the principal" chloe said

 "So the principal really doesn't know who you are?"

"She doesn't need to know that information,no one does"

At theo's house 

"Just gimme a sec and I'll be right back" Theo said and gave a peck on her cheek then left.

 A little girl wearing a blue gown and a black flat shoe with her hair all packed up in two pony tails walked up to her;

"Who are you?" The little girl asked.

The little girl was so cute and her voice was the cutest, Chloe loved children, I mean who doesn't?? 

"Hi little girl, I'm chloe" 

"Hi chloe" 

"Come here, what's ur name?" 

"Sophie" the girl said as she walked towards Chloe 

"You must be theo's sister" 

"Yes, you're pretty" 

"Thank you" chloe smiled so big, you could see she was happy having a worry free conversation with a 5year old.

"Don't go out with Theo, he's bad" 

"Why would you say that, he's your older 

brother"

A bigger version of Sophie came out from a Conner, must be their older sister¿¿ 

"She's right chloe, my younger brother ain't the one for you" 

"He likes Sara" Sophie added. She was a little too smart for her age, just like chloe when she was her age. 

"Um" chloe was speechless 

Theo walks in later and both sister leaves 

"I see you've met my sisters" 

"Yh, they seem... nice" chloe said 

"Shall we go now?" Theo asked 

"Yes"

Chloe should have listened to the sister but she ignored, following her own instincts like she always does. 

The following day at school, the principal made an announcement that the first ever school dance of EMPIRE Academy will be held on Saturday and the student body were excited. It was gonna be another way for the ladies to show off and for the men to ask them out, typical high school.

During lunch 

"I am so happy that the owner finally decided to do something fun for a change" Camilla and her mouth *sigh* 

"What do you mean by that?" Chloe asked

"Not once has there ever been a school dance or field trip or any other fun activities, don't get me wrong , I love it here but when my friend tell me about the lock-in in their school and prom I just really wished we had that but we never did. I wonder what changed". *trust me cami we all do* 

"Was it really that important to you guys to have a party?"Chloe asked

 "Yes" Theo,Leo and Camilla said together. 

"Wow, well I've never really been to a party before"

"Oh Chloe, it's like you're not even a teenager, you have so much to learn" Cami added

The long awaited party finally came and so did Sara. Even though alcohol wasn't allowed, teenagers will be teenagers, some students snuck in some booze and 

spiked the punch. Chloe was looking for Theo every where, he wanted a party and she delivered. She finally found Theo 'her boyfriend' all over another girl and then it hit her, the infamous Sara was back, Theo's sisters were right, her friends Cami and Leo who she asked numerous times about Sara lied to her, she was devastated. She needed to let out fumes and she did by shutting down the first ever party thrown at the school. She walked up to cami and Leo with her eyes all watery ;

" I asked you guys multiple times about Theo and Sara and you said it wasn't true that there is no Sara. That's it's all in my head. Well there is, I've finally seen her, all over Theo . All of you lied to me" tears started falling from her eyes. If there was one thing chloe hated the most in the world, it would be lying.

"You all will rue this day, take my word for it"

And just like that chloe left the building.
