69. The Dark Forests

After everyone finished preparing, they finally agreed to leave in small groups. Half of the Red Moon Pack members were asked to stay behind to look after Ullric's daughter, who was still too young to be taken away. While the others would go to accompany Lulla, who intended to resurrect Ullric with her power.

They didn't know how long Ullric's corpse would last without his heart. So for this one time only, the Red Moon Pack used its connections in the human world to borrow helicopters that would get them to the place Erika had told them about faster. Sol was the one who handled all of their preparations. Once everything was ready, Lulla and the others simply boarded the helicopters, and they quickly took off from that spot.

This was supposed to be Lulla's first time riding a helicopter and seeing the city from the sky. But since she was not feeling well at the moment, the girl just sat between Stefan and Frans while holding tightly the ice box filled with Ullric's heart.
