The following morning, I was called back home by my parents via mindlink ahead of the preparation for the mate breeder ceremony.

When I got home, I went straight up to my room while avoiding speaking to anyone.

Speaking with them wasn't going to change anything and I was too exhausted from the whole situation that I didn't even have the strength to throw tantrums anymore.

On getting to my room, I threw myself down onto the bed—staring up at the ceiling. No sooner was I beginning to enjoy the peace and quiet had Ivory and Axel barged into my room.
