Pliar“And creatures of all districts, we're back for the second match of Kaden university competition 2025“ The first commentator announces. “This time we have Pliar, the newly appointed alpha of the hybrid district, Sturgeon pack versus Finn of the werewolf district“ “As we all remember correctly, last year Jameson and Finn represented the werewolf district and won them the title of the strongest district“ The second commentator states. “Can the werewolf district maintain this title again this year?““That's what we're here to find out. Over to them at the ring“ In the ring, the referee was just about to commence the match between I and Finn when he spoke up. “I have a condition to add“ Lord Kingsley drew close to the ring. “What condition, Finn? The match is about to start so you can't just add a condition last minute““The match has to be fair“ Finn argues. “My opponent is capable of healing himself a thousand times even if I hurt him. To make things fair, I would like to ask
PliarThe next six weeks went by rather quickly and I couldn't possibly be happier. Finally, it was the D-day of the competition at Kaden university. The competition that would determine which amongst the four districts was the strongest. I'd come to realize a little too late that each representative was strong. During the past six weeks, none of them were dropped out of any of the competition. We all made it till the end. I'd underestimated each representative a little too much but that didn't matter. Let's just get this over with. I wanted to go back home right now more than ever because yesterday Beta Rowan had reported to me that Kaia had given birth. Not surprising as she-wolves usually carried their pups for 3-6 weeks. It's just that I thought by the time Kaia put to bed, I'd already be out of Kaden. Fuck. I want to see my son. Rowan mentioned he looked a lot like Kaia. Given that description, I could just picture how adorable my son looks off the bat. “Hey, head on the g
Xendith Mother helped Kaia get accustomed to her powers and ever since then, she'd stuck closely with Kaia which made me unable to question her about Caspian. I didn't believe Mother's words. Not one bit. There had to be no way she killed Caspian. “Xendith, can you hear me?“ Cali asked via mind-link. “I can. What is it?““Victony is headed your way. I don't know what you've done this time with Casir but make sure to protect Kaia and the baby“As soon as those words slipped out of Cali's lips, Victony appeared before me. “Hello, Xendith“ He greets. “It's been a while, hasn't it?““Even if you have the power to teleport into places, that doesn't give you the right to bypass the guards by the pack gate““I didn't come to stir up trouble so you don't have to look very displeased to see me—unless, you are also still under the false impression that I caused your father's death“ I quirked my brow. “Aren't you?““If I was, is that the reason why you decided to harm Casir? To settle scor
Pliar“That's all that has been happening in the pack mansion, Alpha Pliar“ Beta Rowan reveals. “There still hasn't been any sign of Caspian“I'd tasked Beta Rowan with keeping me up-to-date with the happenings at the pack mansion—especially of Caspian's return. Rowan visited me at Kaden with news but not the ones I was expecting to hear. “Keep me posted immediately Caspian returns to the pack mansion““Will do, Alpha but..did Caspian do something wrong?“ Rowan asks. “Alpha Xendith had also told me to alert him the minute Caspian shows up in the pack mansion““Xendith did?“Does that mean he knows that Caspian killed father? But how? If Cali hadn't cracked the memory manipulation spell, none of us would have been able to realize that our memory had been tampered with on our own. “Yes, he did“ “That's fine. I bet he's just worried. You are aware that Caspian was like a father figure to us““Yes, I am““Good“ Clearing my throat, I asked. “And Kaia? How is she? Have there been any c
Xendith “She's waking up!“ Aklan suddenly yells. Gazing away from Lire to Kaia, I realized that Aklan's words held some truth to it. Approaching the bed, I breathed out a huge sigh of relief as Kaia opened her eyes. “Thank goddess“ I muttered. “Just a minute“ Lire says, brushing past Aklan and I as he examined Kaia's body. “Her conditions are stable and so is the baby“Kaia frowned. “Did something happen to me, Lire? Why are you all gathered here with a serious look on your faces?“Lire glances between I and Aklan. “I'll let your mates be the one who explains it to you. But you can rest assured now that everything is alright““Thank you, Lire“As Lire and Jade takes their leave, Kaia sits upright on my bed. “Can you two tell me what's going on?“ She asks. “First of all, there's something I need to tell you“ Aklan begins. “The day it was revealed to us that Xendith made a deal with your unborn child to that witch in Denver clubhouse, I sort out numerous way to help break the deal
Xendith “What did you just say, Aklan?“ Mother questioned. “No, wait. Hold on a second. Did you just say Xendith made a deal with your unborn child? What in the world have you boys been doing? Answer me now. Both of you!““Mother, lower your voice. Kaia is still asleep“ I warned. Mother scoffed. “If she knew what you two have done then she wouldn't even be considering sharing the same bed as you two“ I snort. “Oh, please. Kaia already knows about what I did—and has already forgiven me for it. I can't say the same about Aklan though“ “You're one to talk“ Aklan argued. “You forget that if I hadn't reversed the deal you made, there wouldn't BE any child“ Mother's gaze between Aklan and I. In fury, she reveals. “I'm ashamed to call you both my sons“ Mother stormed out angrily. Turning to face Aklan, I barked. “You just had to go and make things worse, didn't you?““Don't even start with me““Of course, I will. You are always acting like you had Kaia's best interest at heart yet you
