CHAPTER 99

THE REDMOON NIGHT AGAIN

"This doesn’t look like ordinary plants." He stated. She made her way to the front door. He pierced the lock with his claw and unlocked it as it grew. Titus opened it, and the first breath of fresh air made him feel dizzy. "How long has this been with your grandfather?"

"I’m not sure. Why?"

He took one of the flowers in his hands and felt it. "This is monkshood, Selena." Monkshood is being planted by your grandfather."

"No. That is not a possibility."

Selena’s bone suddenly cracked as she knelt on the ground and yelled in pain.

"Selena," Titus called out. She had already changed midway by the time she turned to face him. Her eyes glowed gold, and he could tell she was upset. Definitely enraged at him. "Selena. Don’t do what you’ve had envisioned. "It’s just the moon."

"I’m sorry Titus, but it’s better if you die than live." This is my retaliation for you." She dashed out of the greenhouse and shut the door completely. After locking him inside, Selena followed the howling she could still hear.

Titus began to feel tired. The monkshood all around him was making him sweat. He might die if he doesn’t get out quickly. He tried to walk to the door, but the monkshood caught up to him faster than he could. He immediately collapsed. The moon was the last thing that caught his attention before it faded away.

"It’s raining outside, Trisha. Selena has yet to return. She’s been gone for 15 hours, and the full moon is staring at me!" From left to right, Dalett panicked. She shifted her gaze to Trisha. "She took her phone, right?"

"Of course," she says. When you go hiking, you ought to always take your phone." Trisha dialed Selena’s number, but her ringtone could be heard somewhere else in the room. Dalett discovered the roots of the noise and got rid of it.

"Great. She forgot to bring her phone. "How are we going to find her now?"

"Stop freaking out. She could have gone to the greenhouse and locked herself in."

Dalett sighed and rolled her eyes. "As if she will do that."

"We should check first." She went into Selena’s closet and selected two raincoats and rain boots. Trisha and Dalett stepped out the room, holding two touch lights in their hands. As they left the mansions, the rain started to fall heavily and the thunder started to rumble more.

"Are you sure we should still head out?" The rain is pouring heavily."

"We have to find Selena."

Dalett turned to face Trisha. "And what if she isn’t in the greenhouse?" Trisha didn’t say anything for a while, instead staring at Dalett. "We will have to go out there to find her?"

"No. I was thinking we might want Titus’ assistance."

"You mean the betrayal?"

"Well. We really need his assistance. We can’t do it on our own."

"He betrayed her."

"This is not the time, Dalett. Really. We should go after Selena first, then fight Titus later." She dashed out into the rain. "Come on!" Trisha made a gesture toward her. Dalett sighed and followed suit. They made their way to the back of the mansion, turning on their lights. Dalett dashed to a corner as soon as they saw the greenhouse to see if Selena was there.

"She isn’t here."

"Check the other side," Trisha said, starting to look as well.

"That means she never came here to begin with." We need to go look for her before she receives a gunshot or something." A slow growl stopped Dalett and Trisha in their tracks as they left the front of the greenhouse. "Did you hear that?"

"I did."

They both turned around to face the entrance. "She is here." They began looking around again but found nothing. Dalett was startled when she peered through the transparent glass. She screamed in horror at what she saw. "Something is in there but that is not Selena."

"Shh. Talk softly. Someone might be able to hear you." She approached the window and peered inside. "Oh, my God." Trisha dashed to the front door. Dalett ceased her as she attempted to open the door.

"What on earth are you doing?" That does not appear to be Selena."

"It is Titus."

"Ti... Titus?" Trisha gave a nod. "How did he get here?"

"I suspect he was locked inside." He appears to be in poor health, and we need to get him out of there." Trisha attempted to open it, but it refused. It’s securely closed. She concentrated on Dalett. "Please find anything like a stone to break it."

"It’s not going to work." Titus’ frail voice was audible. "She locked me up to get her revenge, and it appears that the padlock cannot be opened unless we find the key or use claws to break it open."

"Then we must find the key."

"We’re out of time." Every second I spend here drains my energy. Please locate Tyler. He must protect Selena. She is not in control and so is Estry.”

Dalett dashed back to find Selena’s phone. The only way to get him here is to call him, and only Selena has his number. Trisha stayed with Titus as she dashed back to the house. I’m trying to talk to him so he doesn’t pass out.

Jade could see her running. She had seen Trisha and Dalett run out of the house in raincoats and boots. She’d been wondering where they were going. It was pouring heavily outside, and no one in their right mind would have gone outside to play. Something was definitely wrong, and she would have to figure out what it was. She hasn’t seen Selena all day because she suspects something is wrong.

She is aware of her sister’s habit of arriving home late, of course, but this is a new area, and you have to travel quite a distance before you can find a club. She got herself ready and followed as she saw Dalett run out. Jade could see where Dalett had run from a distance. Selena had mentioned the greenhouse.

Selena was not among her friends who were gathered underneath a shelter. They seemed to be expecting someone. The rain was making her feel cold, but she refused to leave until she found what was going on. Selena has also been acting strangely, and perhaps now is the time for her to finally get the answer she has been looking for. What exactly are Selena and her friends up to?

Jade became aware of approaching footsteps. She took cover as soon as she noticed a man approaching them. "You are sure Selena locked him inside?"

When Jade heard her sister’s name, she became more attentive. Who did she lock down? "What makes her think she’d lock someone inside the greenhouse?"

Dear Reader,

I appreciate your continued support as you’ve journeyed with me. Your encouragement is what keeps my writing going.

Now, you might be wondering, What comes next? Will the Alpha die in the Greenhouse? What about Selena’s family, will they find out she is a wolf as well? Did her family discover her transformation, and if so, how? What will happen if they find out?

If you share my curiosity, join me in the next chapter to unravel the mysteries.

Blessings to you.

There’s no way I’m going to get through this.”“Stop talking.” Selena sobbed as she struggled to hold Titus in her arms. As they approached the mansion, it was already ablaze. Titus didn’t have the energy to rush inside and save anyone. His brother and the other werewolves were inside, and he could sense their agony. The pain was too much for him to bear, so he shut his eyes right there. “Titus, Titus, Titus!” Selena yelled. “Stay with me. I will save you, okay?” There was no more response, and his body had become completely cold.“Titus. You can’t die now.” She placed him on the ground. “I know you’re hearing me, and you won’t die. I’ll save you. Okay? I’ll heal you.” She held his hand and stared up at the sky. There was no way she could save him. Everything will be over if she shows up too late. Selena started crying, but stopped abruptly when she remembered something. She gasped. “The Red W

I was curious when he told me his surname, but then he told me some stories about it that made me feel sorry for him. I am sorry I didn’t tell you about Easton.” Selena said. She and Titus talked until morning arrived. He had consoled her and made her feel better the night before, but Selena and Titus still couldn’t believe Tyler had gone. It was just like losing her father. He was gone forever, never to be seen or heard from again. “You’re not to blame. He purposefully approached you. He knew who you were all along and approached you, but he could not turn your mind against us.”“What do you think caused him to do what he did?” “I’m not sure, but I’ve been searching for him for months. He mentioned something about telling me who was on my death-bead. He desperately wanted me to die. Actually, we all assumed he had died. When we were younger, there was this story that circulat

She closed the door behind herself as she approached them. “What exactly happened?” “This is what happens when you have a half-breed Luna,” another person commented.“You mean turned?” The first one spoke rudely. She returned her gaze to Selena. “Darkness has fallen over us since you joined our pack. Uncle Theodore died; our pack was attacked, and...” She paused. The words couldn’t leave her mouth. Selena was waiting, but her hand was in hers. When she looked down, she saw Dylan. “Don’t mind them, sister-in-law.” Dylan smiled. “You aren’t to blame. They are simply attempting to direct their anger and blame at someone. If you’re looking for my brother, he is in the graveyard. “He has been there for hours.” “Graveyard? What do you mean?”“You should go and meet him. He’s going to explain everything to you. As you can see, this room is already full of werewo

She is talking nonsense.” “Am I?” Max laughed again. “Here’s an even more shocking story. She is our Luna. Our pack’s female leader. I’m sure you are wondering how this happened. On the night of the red moon, the Alpha bit her and made her one of us. “He’s even married to her right now.” “Nonsense!” Ferdinand yelled in anger. “Believe me; I bet your daughter-in-law knows as well. Selena’s sister was among those involved. They’re doing everything they can to ensure her safety. Even from you, Ferdinand.” “That’s enough!” Ferdinand furrowed his brow. “Get her out of here and make her suffer,” he instructed the two men who approached her.“Get your filthy hands off me!” Max yelled as the two big men grabbed her. She tried to transform, but a sleeping mask was placed over her face, and she immediately fell asleep.

  • ENTANGLED WITH THE REJECTED MATE   PINKY SWEAR BEFORE I DIE

CHAPER 166PINKY SWEAR BEFORE I DIE “You’re making me angry right now.” Ansel spoke as he sprinted towards Titus. Titus has never seen a wolf run that fast. Ansel jumped immediately, his claws long and sharp. Titus raised one leg to protect himself, but then he heard a low groan. He moved his leg away from his face and noticed Tyler in front of him. Tyler fell instantly, and Titus caught him before he hit the ground. Tyler’s mouth dripped with blood as he gradually reverted to human form. Titus focused his gaze on him. He called “Tyler.” As Tyler attempted to talk, more blood gushed out of his mouth. “Shh. Don’t say anything.” Titus examined the wound that Ansel had caused, which was quite deep. “Why are you not healing?” “He cannot. He is already as good as dead.” Ansel began laughing. He showed Titus a rib that he had broken from Tyler’s. “He is incomplete without this. He will die, Alpha, and I will return to finish you.” Ansel started laughing wickedly as he walked away with th

CHAPTER 165MY NAME IS ANSEL AND I’M 10 TIMES STRONGER Titus began to laugh. “How convenient for you all to believe the Alpha would lay down and give you his head without a fight.” Max took a deep breath before starting her car. She hasn’t heard from her brother in days. Reaching him through a mindlink was also impossible. It had never happened before, and it bothered her. She started her car and drove away from the school. As she drove, she was overcome with mourning over Uncle Theodore’s death. The fact that he had abandoned them was still unbelievable. Max came to a halt when she saw two cars in the distance blocking her path. She turned off her engine and looked forward. She saw a slim, tall woman and two men approach her. Max waited in her car for a while to see if they were actually coming towards her. “Your name must be Max. The pale sister of Alexander Terry,” said the woman, smiling. Max was inquisitive. “And who are you? How do you know my name?” “My name is Patricia,
