I swallowed deeply as the silence almost killed me. Clayton didn't talk for a minute. It was as if we were both drowning in silence until he wrapped his arms around my waist and he rested his face on my shoulder.

I froze with my lips parted. I couldn't move like I have been caged in an iceberg.

"It hurts, Snow," he whispered. "Every minute of the day you never failed to make me feel how you just married for my money and four families. It's hurting me, Snow.
