Kabanata Dieciseis

Nagtataka ako na hindi ko ma-contact si Elisa kaya naligo kaagad ako para puntahan siya sa trabaho nito.

"Troy, where are you going? " my friend asked in the Philippines.

"I'm going to Elisa to her job. I'm wondering if, what happens to her? I won't be able to contact her anymore." I said.

I put on my shoes and went to the bathroom to defecate.

"Maybe you've been forgotten, Troy or you've been traded for someone else." my friend said from outside the bathroom.

I was speechless and I breathed before coming out of the bathroom.

"If she already had someone else she should have said or he had already broken up with me, she didn't say," I answer him.

"You're right, talk to her," he replied.

"I also want to know the reason, she ignored me," I said.

He didn't answer and I left. I commuted to go to Elisa's work. I asked her co-workers if Elisa was there.

"Elisa has been gone earlier," my interrogator said.
