*Princess Amira's Pov*
"Your highness we should have sent someone instead. You know it's forbidden to go outside the school premises," Ashley said as soon as we arrive in the middle of the forest. We came here for a very important mission. I glared at her as a warning. She's annoying and stupid! Who cares about rules when nobody knows that we violated them!
"Keep your mouth shut Ashley or I will be the one to shut it for you!" I warned. She bowed down her and did not bother to speak again.
She just followed me while I was looking for the cottage of the snake hunter.
"Did you have the map with you?" I asked without even turning around to look at her.
"Yes your highness. It says here that the cottage is located at the west side of the woods. With two big acacia trees on it's sides," she explained. I nodded and started walking to the west side of the forest. This place is so quite that I could not even hear a single chirp from a bird. Everything looks so calm that you wouldn't even think about being attacked by wild animals.
"Your highness are you sure about this map? We've been walking for almost an hour already and there's not even a single sign of life in here. This forest is dead!" she blurted out.
"Just pray that we will not encounter any wild animals along the way, cause I swear to all the odds that I'm going to feed your annoying mouth to them!" I warned her again. This girl's mouth is really irritating.
Then, finally after walking for almost an hour we arrived at our destination. Geez this snake hunter! We have to suffer first before we could find him. His cottage is made up of bamboo and nipa. It looks simple but refreshing and a perfect place to rest when you're tired of city life.
Ashley started knocking at his bamboo door. She knocked 3 times before it finally opened, revealing the man we've been looking for.
"Who are you?" he asked with confusions written in his slightly big eyes. He's a little skinny and his hair looks like it had never experienced being washed for years. It's messy and I think it badly needs a hairbrush.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" he shouted. Gosh he's breath stinks! I almost throw up and I badly want to shout in his face that he needs to know some personal hygiene.
"I am Princess Amira, the second princess of Citrine. And she's my personal assistant Ashley Devera," I told him before he shouts at us again. Because he might kill us with the bad breath he have!
He looked at me as if scanning me from head to toe. Then he smiled, a devil one!
"Come in your highness, it's a pleasure to have you as a guest," he said while opening the door wider for us.
"Have a seat." He motioned us to sit on his wooden chair but we refused.
"We're here for business, and I don't want to waste much time." We should hurry back to the University before they find out that we're missing. I swear my mom would surely kill me with her piercing stare if that happens.
"Oh? What kind of business your highness?" he asked with a smirk.
"I know that you're a snake hunter, so I want you to catch the most venomous snake you have ever encountered. Give it to me alive and without even a single scratch." He went silent for a while. Probably wondering on why the hell I wanted him to catch a snake, well not just a simple snake but the most venomous one.
"Your highness, what are you going to do with that snake?"
"Stop asking questions! You want to earn money or not?" I'm starting to feel irritated with this guy. He keeps on asking questions and it annoys me. Why don't he just answer me with a yes instead of asking too much?
"Of course I do want to earn money. But this thing you are requesting is very dangerous. It's a venomous snake and you want me to catch it alive!" he explained as if telling me that he deserves the best compensation for this job.
"Of course you will be compensated for it. I will give you two bags of golds if you will accomplish this task. You will be a rich snake hunter before you know it! You could build a better home than this and start your own family with that big amount of money," I told him. I could see how his eyes sparkle like diamonds after hearing my words. People will always be blinded by money. They will even offer their lives for it! What a pity!
"Well then, it's a deal your highness! When do you want me to deliver it to you?"
"Good. You don't have to deliver it in the University. Ashley will be waiting outside this forest tomorrow evening. Give it to her then you will have your money. But please be sure that nobody will see you," I explained to him.
"Yes of course your highness. I will look for a snake right away!" he said excitedly.
"Let's go Ashley, it's getting late and we need to arrive in the University before sunset."
"Yes your highness, I badly want to go home. I'm not going to die because of the wild animals, it's his breath that would kill me," she whispered that made me laugh. It seems like her mouth is not just the one functioning today.
"Shut up Ashley, he might hear us."
"I'm just telling the truth your highness," she reasoned out.
"Enough! Let's go!" I yelled at her. She pouts and started to walk outside without even waiting for me. This brat is forgetting who I am! I am her boss and she should walk behind me!
After another almost an hour walk, we finally arrive at the backdoor of the University where the secret door is located. We discovered this while following one of our professors. We got curious on what she's doing in the grassy part of this University so me and Ashley decided to follow her. Then we found her dirty little secret. She secretly sneaks out every afternoon using this rusty and old door covered with grasses. And who would have thought that this could be a great help to us?
*First Person's POV* Just as when I was about to blame myself, Leanna spoke, "No madame! The Gods did not sacrifice all of you!" The woman diverted her gaze to her. "And how did you know?" she asked while raising her left brow. "Because I'm one of the servants of the Gods. I am the guardian of the chosen one, and I know the whole story," Leanna stated while the woman stared at her with wide eyes. "So you're one of their accomplices? And you planned all of this just to know our whereabouts and sacrifice our lives once again? I really can't believe that the Gods could be that selfish! "No! I just want you to know the truth!" "We already know what the truth is!" the woman insisted."When we met the dark immortals earlier they told us that the reason why you hid yourselves down here, is that you are all selfish. But I did not believe them, because I don't want to judge someone without even knowing the truth. I just hope you will do the same with the God
First Person's POV; "ZION!" I heard Diane screaming Zion's name. She must've been worried about him but the big question in my mind right now is, why would Zion risk his life to protect me? I stared at his eyes but still I could not see any emotion from it. He's still as cold as ice. "Your highness ,you better not forget our mission. Don't be so careless, or you might get yourself killed," Stefan said and Zion automatically let go of me. It's as if he was burned or something. "Are you okay Ana?" Diane asked as she hurriedly run towards me. Lyndon and Leanna did the same thing and they started checking if I got wounds or bruises. "I'm fine guys, you don't have to worry about me," I told them with a smile. The three of them stared at Zion with confusions written all over their faces. They were probably thinking on why the hell would Zion save my life, when he's obviously one of our enemies wishing for my death. Well, I wonder the same thing though. Maybe it
*First Person's Pov*Our journey to the North side of the forest lasted for two dark days. We were all exhausted when we reach the pear plantation. The place was serene and just like the other side of the forest, we did not see even a single animal walking around. All we could see through the tiny light of the moon are tall pear trees with fruits shining as it's touched by the moonlight."How are we going to find the white oracles here? All that's here are pear trees," Diane said frustratingly."Haven't you heard what Leanna told us before we came here? Pears are what the white oracles eat. So I'm pretty sure we're going to find one here!" Lyndon told Diane with a glare. I can't believe these two are starting to have their quarrels again."Guys please just be quite. We're not trying to let them know we're here and run off, aren't we?" I hushed them out."Sorry Ana, it just that there's some grinch over here!" Diane rolled her eyes at Lyndon."So you dare to say that I'm a grinch?
*First Person's POV*Just by looking into his eyes I realised how much I've longed for him. And in a split second I found myself drowning in the valley of his gaze as I danced with the rhythm of my heart. I don't need a love like Romeo and Juliet's, nor of Edward and Bella. What I want is a unique and pure love whom I can call my own."Zion," I mumbled as the wind gently blows, touching his face. He stared at me emotionless, it's as if he doesn't even know who I am. How come? I thought our love was unforgettable. But it seems like I'm the only one who thinks that way."Oh my dear cousin." I was pulled out from my fantasies when I heard my cousin's voice."Amira? What are you doing here?" I asked her in disbelief. Don't tell me, that she and Zion came here together? My questions were answered when she clung to Zion's arms and smirked at me."Oh my dear cousin, it seems like you have fallen in love with someone you don't know," she told me with a smirk."What are you talking about
*Third Person's POV*"That chosen one is starting to piss me off!" Velion shouted angrily after receiving the news from the raven he sent to follow Princess Ana Mae."I did not know that they could easily know the secret on how to defeat those spirit knights," Amira said in disbelief. Velion stared at her angrily and she nervously swallowed the lump in her throat."And you! You're a coward! You should've fought with her instead of leaving those spirit knights alone!" he yelled at her. "You could've defeated her since I have given you a lot of powers. But you're still useless!""I'm sorry my king, I promise to do my job better next time. Just please don't punish me," she begged. She's too scared to be killed. She don't want to die without avenging her mom. Besides, all her efforts would be in vain if Velion would kill her now."Surely you will. Because if you fail this time, I will kill you without having a second thought," he warned her. "I promise my king, just tell me what you wan
*First Person's POV* The woods were covered with darkness and just like when we first entered this forest, we did not see even a single animal. Not even a chirp from a bird could be heard. "It's getting creepier in here," Diane whispered to me while biting her nail. It's some kind of mannerism for her whenever she fell nervous. "I know but we still have to travel to the North part of this forest. We need to find the white oracles as soon as possible," I told her. And with the tiny light from the moon, I saw her pout. "Yeah but don't you think we need to rest a bit? Those dark spirit knights drained all my strength," she complained which made me chuckle. "I think you're right. After all we're all exhausted after that intense fight ,we all deserve to rest," I agreed with her. "Let's look for a safe place to camp," Lyndon suggested. We all agreed and look for a safe place to stay. Leanna walked farther from us so she could check if the area is safe.
