It’s been a week since we got the biggest shock of our lives. Malachi told us that he had talked to our moon goddess and his great-grandmother. He explained to us that he told them what was going on and that the moon goddess said she had three who wanted to help. Of course, we had all heard the myth about three gods that weren’t supposed to be. It’s a story that all parents tell their kids. Only it’s not a story as I stand in the kitchen watching two of them cook. I smile when Kylani walks in with a toddler on her hip.

“You let him near an oven?” Kylani asked.

“I found him cooking, so I figured I should stay to prevent a fire.” Mykenzie answers.

Chris ignores them and continues cooking. The little boy looks at me. He can’t be over two years old. I hear giggling and turn to see my boys and Emerald walking towards us, carrying the triplets. Emerald walks in, and they all say good morning to each other.
