Gwyneth's POV 

"Are you sure you're okay?" I asked Kalex and I guess, it's the ninth time I asked him that.

I was just worried that he might be eaten again by his trauma. I don't want to freak out about whatever might happen. I couldn't afford to let tears escape again in my eyes because they were too precious to be wasted. 

"Do I need to repeat my answer again and again?" His eyebrows were pulled together and pursed his lips. "I told you I'm fine. What happened earlier was just normal to someone as freak as me," he looked away and staring straight ahead to where the swing of the park was located at.
