I turned around when I felt someone behind me but I knew immediately who it was. I smiled at Kalex, but he didn't smile back at me. He just stared at me and I know that kind of look that he's giving me.
"Kalex, come on. I'm not going to kill myself." I tried to cracked a joke at him but he remained serious. I rolled my eyes. "Just because the man that I've loved for a decade is getting married doesn't mean that I should end my life. I should be happy for him ... and I am."
I turned my back at him and looked at the sea of lights below. we are here today on the rooftop of the hotel where Quir’s company anniversary party was held. I am very happy for him because after years of proving to everyone that he can handle the company, he has finally proven something. i was really happy ... until he decided to propose to Gretchen.
