Chapter Thirty Two

Jasmine.

My head felt like it had been split open and then sewn shut after a while. All that sunlight streaming in from the windows were not helping too.

I had no information on my location but this time, I woke up in a bed and my hand wasn't cuffed to anywhere. My mouth was dry and my lips crusted, going out of this room which felt like my safe haven because no one was here taunting me felt like the worse thing to do.

But I had to do it. I had to check if I had any chance of escaping or perhaps getting a text to Alexander.

Something that would help my situation.

The first thing I realized was that I was in a penthouse. I could see the entire city from where I stood close to the window and man, did that bright light almost blind my eyes.

Another thing I noticed was the fact that the door was slightly open. Was it a sign that I was given the opportunity to escape.
