Please forgive my baby

"Edward?" Bethany called out, shocked with widened eyes.

Jordan turned his head towards her and his eyes fell on her. His eyes were back to normal and so she missed seeing those red eyes of his. "Edward please." she said as tears flow down her cheeks. She rushed to the Jordan's side and grabbed him by his right leg.

"Please, forgive my husband. Let go of him." she cried as she shut her eyes.

Edward looks as if he would die any minute and so she couldn't look at him. Even though she dislikes him for the hurt and pain he inflicts on her all the time, he still has a son to father. She can't let her baby be fatherless.

"Please forgive my baby." she cried.

Jordan frowned when he did not see Sebby with her. Where is he? Where did she take him to?

He let go of Edward and so he fell to the floor, weak and breathless. Bethany let go of his leg and went to Edward.

Seeing his condition, she couldn't help but cry.

"Please help me, I need to take him to the hospital." she cried to the cold man staring back at her with no emotion evidence on his face. "He will die. Please, have mercy. He is the only one I have and he is the father of my baby. I don't want my child to grow up without his father. Please help me."

Jordan smirked. He is the real father to her child but she doesn't know about it yet. He looked at the Edward who was unconscious and shook his head.

He looked at Bethany who was crying beside her husband and but his lips. He saw her last night and knew she was sad and worried. But that wasn't his problem as all he wanted to see was his son who coincidentally, she brought out close to the window. He was able to see him again the second time after his birth.

He didn't care about Bethany. She is married and is none of his business. He only cared about his son with her after he made a deal with Edward.

He brought out his phone and dialed the company medics and told them to rush over to his office. He disconnected the call and threw his phone on his desk as he watched Bethany crying for her toxic husband.

"Isn't that too much, knowing the way he treat you physically and emotionally?" he asked, while watching in amusement. "This is a terrible scene to watch but unfortunately it's happening right in my office." he said and shook his head.

Bethany glared at him and went back to trying to wake Edward up. The door opened and few nurses walked in with a bed wheel. They carried Edward to the bed and wheeled it out. Bethany went ahead to follow them but just when she was about walking out of the door, Jordan held her hand, drew her in, closed the door and made her lean on the door, locking her in between him and the door.

Bethany was in shock as she never expected that. Why did he suddenly grab her that way? She wanted to be with her husband and not this stranger who just tried to kill her husband.

"Let go of me." she said in a tense voice, trying to push his hand away from her, but he wouldn't bulge.

"It would be pointless trying to push me away."

"My husband. I need to be with my husband."

"You mean the husband who beats you and insults you everyday? You should be happy instead that he is in that condition." he said unbothered about the situation he made his vice chairman fall into.

Bethany hit him hard on his chest, fuming in anger. Even though he have been wicked to her, she would never wish to kill him.

"Stop wasting your time. You are too beautiful and gorgeous for that."

"You jerk. I will make sure you pay for all these. You dared hurt Edward and tried to kill him? I promise you today that you will be sent to jail for attempted murder."

"Jail?" he laughed. "Try that and your husband will be the one to end up in jail instead. I am the boss of this company. The boss of this town and..." he looked at her. "The boss of you."

Bethany hit him. "You piece of shit. How dear you?" she said and hit him again, but he found it all amusing and wouldn't stop smirking. "Let me go." she cried and stopped hitting him as her hand was growing weak.

"A piece of shit? Young woman, you know nothing about me so don't you dare call me a piece of shit." he said lowly but threatening.

Bethany kept quiet. The way he spoke showed her how much power he has. The man seems to be someone powerful that she wouldn't be able to fight. She have nothing and no money to fight him or defend herself, so she decided to use a different method to beg him to allow her go.

"Please sir, I beg you to let go of me for the sake of my baby. He is just five months and he can't stay alone for so long." she begged. "I can't leave him all alone neither can I leave without seeing his father. Please let me go see my husband and child. Please I beg you." she begged as tears flow down her eyes.

His eyes softened a bit. She cares so much about the man who always abuse her? For her child, it is okay but not for that man

"Where is he?" he asked, dropping his hand and giving her a way to pass. "Where is the child?"

"You don't have to know. He is my child and so his whereabout isn't your concern." she replied boldly.

"He is our child....." he said and Bethany froze on the spot.
