Mason was at a lost of words after hearing September's words.
Son-in-laws should be fearing their father-in-laws...right?
So why are theirs reversed?
"I'm your wife's father! Show some respect---"
"Respect is earned, Mr. Smith. The moment you sell off my wife in exchange of your freedom, you lost all those respect that I could give you." September said seriously.
"Where's my daughter? Is she safe?" Mason asked instead, maneuvering the conversation into something else.
"How would I know? I'm not her kidnapper." September answered mockingly.
