Chapter 07

　　After Melissa was hospitalized, Spencer stayed in the hospital.

　　Two days later, Melissa hasn\'t woken up yet. Through the glass, Spencer looked at her who was lying on the hospital bed with a pale face, and suddenly there was a little softness in his heart.

　　Melissa, who had always been alive and innocent before and wanted to protect him like a female heroine, was suddenly lying on the hospital bed like this, making him feel very empty for no reason.

　　When Spencer was in a daze, Melissa\'s eyelashes trembled. This subtle change was caught by Spencer, and he immediately called for the doctor.

　　\"Suzie, come in,\" Spencer actually smiled softly at Suzie. Suzie was flattered and hurriedly stepped in with her high heels.

　　Melissa became even angrier, \"This is my ward.\"

　　Spencer sneered, \"Your ward? Melissa, I\'m the one who paid for all of this, so you have no say in here.\"

　　Melissa felt cold, \"The money you spent? Spencer, have you forgotten why I\'m here in the first place? Have you forgotten what you\'ve done to my family? Or did you forget that Suzie is also my father\'s child? She has always hated me and wished me to die.\"

　　She was out of breath, but still questioned Spencer, \"Do you hate me for not being dead and deliberately want to piss me off? Spencer, I won\'t give you what you want!\"

　　Spencer sneered. Just when he was about to speak, Suzie spoke, \"Sister, don\'t be angry with Spencer. He just didn\'t like seeing me being insulted by you and he felt sorry for me.\"

　　This ostentatious tone in Suzie\'s voice made Melissa\'s heart ache from time to time, so she simply closed her eyes and stopped talking.

　　But Suzie didn\'t plan to let her go, \"Sister, are you aware that it\'s impossible to save your family now?\"

　　\"What did you say?\"

　　The sentence really managed to catch Melissa\'s attention.

　　\"Suzie, tell me clearly! What is going on?\"
