Nana's POV

My blood went cold with nervousness as I stood to go to our room. Every step up the stairs felt like I was carrying a weight far heavier than my body. My heart raced, and I forced myself to take deep breaths to calm the storm inside me.

When I entered the room, I froze. The King-sized bed we shared sat empty, and I let out a quiet breath of relief when I heard the shower running. I wasn’t ready to face Simon yet—not like this. I didn’t even know what I could say if I did.

I moved to the closet, hands trembling as I began to undress. The faint, familiar scent of Noah’s cologne lingered on my shirt, teasing my senses. Without thinking, I pressed the fabric to my nose, inhaling deeply, letting the memory of his presence wash over me.

My stomach flipped with guilt. What the hell is wrong with me? I yanked the shirt away like it burned me, my cheeks heating at the thought of Simon catching me like this.

After wrapping myself in a towel, I stepped out of the closet, only to stop dead in my tracks. Simon stood outside the bathroom, a towel draped low on his hips, droplets of water sliding down his chest, glistening under the dim bedroom light.

My eyes betrayed me, trailing from his toned chest to his damp hair, which he rubbed carelessly with another towel. I bit my lip, a surge of heat rising through me.

He looked up, his piercing gray eyes meeting mine. I tensed, my breath hitching as his gaze softened—unexpectedly, like he wasn’t holding the same anger from earlier.

“I’m sorry, Simon… for what happened today,” I murmured, my voice hardly louder than a whisper.

He sighed deeply, letting the towel drop from his hair. Then, to my surprise, he stepped closer—close enough that I could feel the warmth radiating off him. My pulse thundered as he stopped just inches from me, his gaze searching mine.

“It’s okay, sweetheart. I’m sorry too,” he said softly, his voice a low rumble that sent shivers down my spine. His hand reached up to cup my face, his thumb brushing against my cheek.

I opened my mouth to say something, but his lips found mine before I could utter a word.

The kiss stole the air from my lungs, gentle at first, then growing deeper, hungrier. I froze for a heartbeat, caught off guard by the suddenness, but then his hands slid around me, pulling me closer. The heat of his body seeped into mine, and for a moment, I couldn’t think—only feel.

Each touch from Simon burned away the lingering shadows of Noah. My guilt, my confusion—it all melted under the weight of his embrace. His hands roamed, igniting fire along every inch of my skin. I felt the growing bulge press against my stomach.

Before I realized it, my towel slipped to the floor, leaving me bare against him. His hands gripped my thighs, lifting me effortlessly as I wrapped my legs around his waist. Our eyes met briefly, and in that fleeting moment, I saw something raw and unspoken in his gaze, something I hadn’t seen for so long. My cheeks flushed with the heat that creeped in me.

For the first time in what felt like forever, I felt truly seen. Loved.

“Maybe the argument we had earlier was a good thing,” I thought silently, the edges of my lips curving upward. Despite the hurt, despite the anger, this moment felt like a reminder of the bond we still shared.

The bed felt impossibly soft beneath my back as Simon lowered me gently, his weight pressing into me in all the right ways. His lips left mine to trace along my jaw, the heat of his breath teasing my skin.

“Simon…” I moaned, my voice trembling, but I wasn’t even sure what I wanted to say. His name came out like a prayer, a plea, a confession.

NOAH From where I stood, I could see everything. Nana beside him. Her posture too straight. Her eyes too shiny. Simon had his arm wrapped around her waist like he was anchoring her there. Like he knew I was watching. His other hand waved cheerfully at the parents gathered by the door, his mouth curved into that responsible-boy smile everyone loved so much. Then he leaned in, his lips brushing against her ear. I couldn’t hear what he said. But I didn’t need to. I saw her flinch. And then—he glanced over his shoulder. Right at me. Smirked. Cocky. Fucking triumphant. Because he knew I knew. He’d touched her. Marked her. Probably still dripping inside her while she stood there, pretending like she wasn’t crumbling. I clenched my jaw so hard I felt it crack. My hands fisted at my sides. But I didn’t move. Because I wasn’t going to lose my shit here—not in front of them. Not in front of the fucking family. No. I’d wait. Because I had something Simon didn’t know I kne

I stood, offered my hand, and she took it like she always did. The study was quiet when we entered, dim with just the hallway glow spilling in. I didn’t close the door all the way. On purpose. Let him listen. Let him watch. Let him hear what it sounds like when someone fucks what he can’t have. I spun her gently, pressed her against a desk, and let my hands roam up the back of her thighs, bunching the fabric until I found her bare skin. Still warm. Still wet. Still mine. Her breath hitched. “Simon—” “I don’t want to talk,” I said, voice low, fingers already slipping between her legs. “I want to remind you.” She whimpered. I didn’t take my time. I undid my pants with one hand, shoved them down enough to free my cock, and thrust into her with a force that made her cry out. My hand clamped over her mouth. My other gripped her hip. Her walls welcomed me like they always did—tight, wet, addicted. “You’re not allowed to let anyone touch you,” I growled into her ear. “Do y

SIMON – POV She twitched the moment my lips brushed her cheek. Soft. Gentle. The kind of kiss that husbands give their wives after long, peaceful nights. The kind of kiss that says I missed you—when really, I’d spent the night buried in someone else after leaving her aching for more that night. The next morning I had come back, ready to dangle what she craved in front of her. Love. Affection. To be fucked like the little sinner I wanted her to be. She blinked up at me, eyes unfocused, lips slightly parted. Guilt clung to her like perfume. I could smell it the moment she opened her mouth. “When did you get back?” she whispered. I smiled. Tilted my head just enough to look sincere. “Late. Didn’t want to wake you.” Lie. I’d stood in the doorway for several minutes watching her sleep. Not like a husband. Not like a lover. Like a man appraising a painting he already planned to rip in half. She looked softer that morning. Raw. Unstable. Her blouse had slipped off one should

I swallowed hard. “You know what I think?” he whispered, leaning in. “I think you’ve been aching since that night I left you on edge. I think you’re still waiting for me to finish what I started.” My knees buckled. He caught me by the waist, dragging me close against him. I could feel him already—hard. He was always quick to anger. And now I could see it all over his face. Not rage exactly… but something close. Possessive. Dangerous. “You don’t even try to hide it,” he muttered, lips ghosting over my jaw. “You’re still waiting for me, aren’t you?” Before I could speak—before I could lie—his hands fisted in the hem of my dress and yanked it up. I gasped as air hit my thighs. Then my panties were gone. Just—gone. Stripped down in one rough tug, hanging from his fingers like a trophy before he dropped them at our feet. “Fuck,” he hissed, dipping his hand between my thighs. “You’re soaked.” “Wait—” My breath hitched—his fingers slid through the mess between my legs, slow and

I froze. And then— “Didn’t know you were the snooping type,” a voice drawled low and amused behind me. I turned. Noah stood there, phone in one hand, brows raised. His eyes dragged over me like I was something sinful on display. “I wasn’t snooping,” I said too quickly. “You sure?” He stepped inside and shut the door behind him with a click that sounded final. “Because this doesn’t look like a bathroom.” His voice was honey and heat, and my heart slammed into my chest. “I just—wanted air. I wasn’t thinking.” “No,” he murmured, walking toward me slowly. “You were thinking. You just didn’t want to admit what you were thinking about.” I backed up slightly, only to feel the desk behind me. His eyes glittered. “You like walking into dangerous places, don’t you?” “Noah…” My voice was barely a whisper. He stopped a breath away, hand bracing on the desk beside my hip, boxing me in. “Tell me you didn’t walk in here because you were wondering if I was thinking about that

NANA The moment I spotted them—my parents—standing just past the arrival gates, a lump formed in my throat. My mother was waving eagerly, her other hand clutching the strap of her designer handbag. Beside her, my father stood tall and composed as always, dressed impeccably in a cream blazer and navy trousers, his salt-and-pepper hair neatly slicked back. The slight upward curve of his lips was subtle, but I caught it. “Mom!” I broke into a jog, slipping past a family and nearly tripping over a suitcase in my rush. Her arms wrapped around me before I could even breathe, and suddenly I was a little girl again—safe, grounded. She smelled like soft florals and warmth, and I didn’t realize how much I missed that scent until now. “My baby,” she whispered, kissing the side of my face several times. “You’ve lost weight—are you eating well?” I smiled through the lump in my throat. “Yes, Mom. I’m fine.” Simon approached us, giving my father a firm handshake before bowing slightly,
