Chapter Thirty-Two

Alexander staggered into his hotel suite, the dim lighting making it difficult for him to focus.

He was inebriated, his senses dulled by alcohol, and the sound of his footsteps echoed throughout the room.

As he approached the bed, a figure lying there caught his eye, bathed in the soft glow of moonlight filtering through the curtained window.
