Chapter 186

Early that morning, Alicia’s eyes fluttered open. She felt significantly better now because she was well rested. She looked at the other side of the bed, but Lysander wasn’t there.

Fear gripped her instantly, and she quickly got down from the bed. Her eyes swept through the room—Lysander wasn’t here. Where did he go?

She instantly rushed to the door, wanting to pull it open, but it was securely locked.
