The more I heard my name in my sleep, the more my head kept banging.

I do not need a soothsayer to tell me that the person who was calling was no other than my one and only best friend, Helen.

'The hell!' This girl is good at waking me up in the worst way ever. Before she hits me, I better just stand up.

*Swatt* I received a loud slap at the back of my head

"Gezzzz… what the hell, Helen!"

"And you're welcome" she replied with a broad smile that so irritated me, I wanted to slap it off her face.

"Why do you keep slapping me whenever you wake me up?! And you do that when you know I'm already awake!" 

She giggled with her hands clenched together "Well that's because I need to reset your brain for the day. You can't use the sense of yesterday for today, so I'm helping you"

I stared at her with confusion written all over my face. If I get what she's saying correctly, she slaps me every morning to reset my brain? Like my brain wasn't set? With anger, I asked 

"Are you saying that my brain wasn't set properly, Helen?"

I saw her nod with lips pressed together "Exactly! You are understanding me and that because I just reset it for the day"

I growled at her before rushing her before she could run away. I dragged her to the bed and sat on her belly. 

"I'm gonna kill you!" I screamed at her face before pulling her hair. Her hands already reached to my hair and pulled them as well

"Not without a fight" she replied while breathing heavily, we both fought till we were breathing so hard we had to let go of each other. I fell on the bed beside her as I continued to breathe.

"But… why did you…. wake me so early?" I asked as I tried to regulate my breathing "It's not like we have where we are going today"

She sneered "Early my foot! Is there any time you wake up early? It's 9 am already ma'am" she rolled her eyes at me.

"Ohhh"

"Ohhhh indeed"

So sorry for the late intro, I'm Freya and this idiot lying at my left is Helen, my best friend. We've been besties since diapers. Moms knew each other till they both passed away. Her mom passed away first before she called my mom to come along. I'm 22 years old, same with Helen, my bestie.

So we live alone and together forever. We are just the best, we never have any clash of any kind. 

*Ring Ring* oops

"It's your phone, Freya" 

I turned to pick the phone up to see that it was my cousin calling, Mason. Mason is my moneybag. Whenever I need money I call and he always sends. 

"Why don't you pick it instead? Tell him I'm sick and need to be taken to the hospital immediately. Ask him to send some cash"

"You do it" Helen whined and I practically rolled my eyes at her.

"Idiot! A sick person shouldn't pick the call when her friend is there to do the work for her" I replied.

She bobbed her head up and down before taking the phone from me

"Hello Mason"

"Speaker" I whispered and Helen placed the phone on speaker so I could hear their conversation

"Helen? Where's Freya?"

"Freya's here but she can't talk to you right now. She's sick and we need some cash to go to the hospital" she replied while staring at me

"Freya's sick? But I spoke to her last night. Give her the phone"

Helen immediately passed the phone to me

"Ma…son?" My voice was so low and shaky that I'm sure Mason could feel it from wherever he was

"What's wrong with you?" He asked and I replied in a whisper

"Sick, send money" 

"I'll send it immediately" he replied after hearing how I sounded and ended the call immediately

I and Helen burst into laughter the moment i dropped my phone

"He cares so much for you" Helen said in between laughter and I nodded as I laughed. 

Two minutes later, I received a notification on my phone of the money.

"He has sent it," I said to Helen with sparkling eyes.

"Cooooooooool…. Let's go clubbing tonight, baby!" She screamed and I screamed back as we both jumped on the bed in excitement.

I sat on the edge of the Mercedes as I watched the entire Luciano's mansion burn to the ground, alongside them. Do I care? Absolutely Not.

Luciano's family meant nothing to me and this would teach every other one of them never to double cross me. I can be a horrible beast when I want to and guess what? I'm always in that mood 

I am Noah Maxwell, 26 years old, best in drug dealing and all the illegal business you can think of. Yes, that's me. For reasons best known to me, I always wear a mask to cover my face. I make sure no one sees my face, not even my most trusted man.

Trusted? Scratch that. My right hand man, more like a personal assistant. I do not trust no one except myself.

*Bring out Luciano's men to me", I ordered.

Within a few seconds, his men were all lined up pleading for mercy like I remember the meaning of mercy.

"Mercy? What's that?" I asked before shaking my head 

"It's not in my dictionary" I gave them a devilish smile before I rendered bullets into their damned skull. I smirked as their blood spilled on the floor.

"Set the meeting tonight at Mexico stripper. I need my clubhouse for my meeting" I ordered.

I threw the cigarettes in my fingers away before turning to make my way into the car. 

I have a deal to settle tonight with some business partners. I need to rest before going over to the stripper clubhouse. Maybe I can get one or two ladies to keep me busy for the night
