Chapter 5 Secretly hated

Dante stared at the mask thoughtfully and shook his head.

“It’s fun to tease her for how.Let it be.Have you found all the information I need?”

Hearing Dante’s question,the secretary stepped forward and gave more information to him.

“Sir,Miss Renee Gallo is a kindhearted,enthusiastic girl.Everyone in her neighborhood are fond of her.She really is a good girl.“

“And you should be good to her.I believe that kind of girl deserves a good man.”Chad advised.

Dante frowned and couldn’t help reflecting on himself.

Was he as bad as everyone had painted him to be?

“I want to be good to her.But I don’t know if I can.”

“You can.”Chad encouraged.

Dante had never cared what people thought about him.

Hell,he had wanted people to fear and always be at his feet but for his little wife-to-be,he was willing to consider becoming a good person,a better person.

Renee felt a lot better after resting for the rest of the day.

The following day,she started thinking about going back to school.

She had just gotten into college and had missed a lot of days.

She really had to catch up with her studies.

She walked downstairs and saw Dante sitting at the table,eating breakfast.

He was holding a knife and folk with his sleeves rolled up a little revealing an expensive watch on his wrist.

Each of his moves showed noble and graceful qualities.It seemed like he was born with these.

He wasn’t on any coat of jacket,just a white t- shirt which outlined his great figure to perfection.He was physical fit with wide shoulders and muscular arms.

If his face wasn’t disfigured,he would have been an ideal husband any girl,a Prince Charming,and a walking aphrodisiac.

She had heard from the butler than Dante was 30 years old.

That meant he was eleven years older than her.

Eleven years!

She had never really considered being with something with such a big age gap.

She could only wish that they could get along.Otherwise,it would be boring and hellish to live with him in the future.

Renee sat down beside him and began.

“You know,I do have to go back to school.I’ve already paid for the dorms and all so I have to live there.Will that be okay with you?”

“Well then,I guess you can come see me on the weekends.We need to build a relationship between us before we get married.Plus,you said you’re going to get used to seeing my face.How are you going to do that if you don’t see me at all.”Dante naturally knew what she was up to but he was not going to let her go again.

He felt his life would become more interesting with her.

Renee sighed and didn’t say anything anymore.

She had boasted that she would overcome her fear and now he planned to run her through a horror drill every weekend

Feeling absolutely regretful at the moment,she dropped her head and ate her breakfast in low spirits.

Renee went to school that day and attended some of her classes then at noon,she went home.

She had been away from home for two days now and she felt her family must be worried about her.

As she got to the door and intended to open it,she heard the voices of Aurora and Maria.

“I’m so glad Renee foolishly agreed to help the family out.I couldn’t possibly imagine anything happen to you,my dear.Can you believe that she’s getting married to an ugly beast.The worst part is that,even if his family is wealthy,he will not inherit anything because he is the third son.What I need you to do,Aurora is to try and find out everything about Thiago Moretti,Gustavo’s first son.You must get that man to like you and then get married to him,that way,we’ll live in riches for the rest of our lives.”

Aurora scoffed.”Mom,I really do not want to marry into the same family as Renee.I’m happy that she’s finally leaving the house.I just can’t put her with her anymore.”

“Aurora,do you really think Renee will successfully marry into that family.Have you forgotten how ruthless Dante is.I’m very sure he’s going to torture her to death.While you on the other hand has to become Thiago’s bride.”

“You’re right,mom.She really do not have any chances of becoming married to Dante.”Aurora smiled and added.”Finally,that lowlife will seize to exist.”

Renee was beyond hurt hearing all these words.

It was always a fact that Maria wasn’t her birth mother and Aurora was her half sister.

But both Maria and Aurora had been nice to her for years.

They were all like one big family.

If anyone had told her that both mother and daughter secretly hated her,Renee would never have believed.

It was so heartbreaking to know that this was what Maria and Aurora truly felt about her.
