Twenty Four

I saw that Harold was with Papa when he came down from the rooftop and I remembered what Eireen said to Drake and me. Papa remembers Harold, whom they knew when they were in school, which means Papa is about to remember.

I saw that they looked at me and I just nodded at them. I walked away from them when I smelled Harold's perfume.

"Hey!" I heard Harold call me and I didn't even look behind me.

"How are you, Harold?" I just asked when he started walking with me, I turned around to see where Papa was going.

I saw that Harold's face changed when I greeted him before he spoke he grinned at me.

"Am I the one you're saying hello to or the conversation between me and your Papa?" he asked me and I just shook my head.

"I'm talking about you, Harold, aren't you, you should have followed Eireen and me right away, why didn't you follow us right away?" I asked him in surprise, not because I was thinking of any other reason but because it was Maria Vero who ordered us to go to Australia together.
