Chapter 4: Reborn (3)

After the door closed, Wei Zhi Yin moves his body a little bit as he reached out for the drawer of the table beside his bed and open it.

As he expected, there's a mirror in there. Wei Zhi Yin sigh as he grabs the mirror and lean back towards the headboard of the bed and looks towards his reflection in the mirror. Although he already knows what he currently looks right now, Wei Zhi Yin cannot help but be still shocked at his appearance when he saw his face in the mirror.

The Young Man in the mirror is around 15 to 16 years old, has a handsome appearance, and his head already grown hairs after his operation in his head and his silver hair was glued in his forehead because of the sweat and his black irises that is reflected in the mirror suddenly changed color as it became silver in just a few seconds.

Wei Zhi Yin stared expressionlessly at his reflection for a few minutes when suddenly, he curled up his pinkish lips as he laugh mockingly as it lasted for almost an incense stick of time and he only stopped when his voice already began turning hoarse. Zhi Yin raised his slightly trembling right hand that full of bandages as he pressed it towards his chest, where his heart located is.

He clearly remembered that before he passed out of consciousness, No, rather before he died, there's a gunshot wound in his heart but now this place is beating regularly and calm.

Wei Zhi Yin does not want to believe that he got reborn 13 years before he died but the facts proved that he is still alive now and he is still currently 16 years old.

Today's date is July 9, 2041. And if he did not remember it correctly, the apocalypse will start one year and four months from now which is exactly 16 months later! At that time, the gunshot wound was unexpected and it should have been a superficial injury since his abilities are already strong and the wounds could heal itself but he never expected that ten minutes later after he was shot, his ability starts to weaken and he tried to enter his space but it was too late.

He cannot open his space anymore as his abilities were being consumed faster. That's the way he remembers he died but he will never forget the man who shot him. No matter how chaotic his surrounding at that time, he still remembers how he was shot by his one of the members of the mission team that he brought.

Zhi Yin sigh as he closed his eye. The feeling of being betrayed is not good. Since he was given the chance to be reborn, then he will make sure to get even with that man. He is not a saint that he could just turn a blind to the person who harm him.

Wei Zhi Yin open his eyes as frown. Why it feels like he forgot something important? And he have a lot of questions and doubts but no one can answer it.

He was reborn but he doesn't know how and why and if there is a conditions that he met without knowing it that's why he was reborn, Then that means he might not be the only one who was reborn and has a knowledge of what will happened in the future?

Wei Zhi Yin closed his eyes tiredly as he cannot help but sigh sadly as his tears suddenly rolled down in those mesmerizing Phoenix eyes when he realized that the Zombie apocalypse will happen again.

The zombie apocalypse where it destroyed the world and caused chaos caused everywhere that caused the death of billions of people. 

In his past life, The zombie apocalypse threatened the survival of humanity, which he is fighting for in order to protect those people who are important to him, and to protect the remaining survivors of his nation.

Wei Zhi Yin cried silently but it did not last long as he suddenly felt a throb of pain in his head and a familiar feeling swept inside his body and in just a single moment, his surrounding changed!

He was now standing in a vast land, and as he turns his eyes to observe his surroundings, all he can see is a ground covered by green grasses and a blue sky. He cannot see the end of the vast grassland but his breathing suddenly became faster when his eyes caught something that he's very familiar of.

A lake! That lake is only twenty square meters but when Wei Zhi Yin saw this, he cannot help but immediately runs towards the clear lake as he squatted down besides it and scooped the water by his hands as he drunk it.

After drinking the water, he suddenly felt a throbbing pain in every part of his body as he curled down in pain and gritted his teeth to the point that blood started to leak out in the corner of his mouth!

Wei Zhi Yin think he might go crazy. He already experience this one time in his past life and he never ever forgot this incident. At that time, his thinking that he will never ever want to experience it again. But who would have thought that he is experiencing it again!

It was very painful and his bones starting to produced cracking sounds while outside his space, his physical body that is laying leaning in the headboard of the bed starts to seep out a black sticky liquid.

Every part of his clear and clean skin was already covered by this black sticky liquid that emits a disgusting smell.

His consciousness is only the one inside his space and the twenty square meters lake that he saw is the spiritual lake that can cleanse the impurities in the body of humans and can temper the bones to make them stronger.

And most importantly, the spiritual water has the attributes of healing.
