Protective Boss

President Cage adjusted his seat then placed his hand on the table and he began tapping on it. His Secretaries and Assistant looked one and other in their eyes then sighed, what they had wanted to avoid was finally happening. Their Boss wasn't supposed to get angry or it would be a disaster! 

"Have you ever heard of a game called 'Squid game?" President Cage asked but President Donald shook his head. He has never heard of it. 

The three at the back glanced at their boss, trying to figure out what he was thinking of as he was unpredictable at times. 

"What is it about?" President Donald asked and the three behind their boss glanced at him like he was stûpid. Didn't he watch the N*****x series 'Squid game? Didn't he realize that someone was to die!

President Cage nodded at his question, a slight smirk curled his lips then he turned to Korin, who immediately Straighten up when he saw his Boss's attention was now on him.

"After we leave this place, take him to where to play the game" He ordered and Korin nodded, he more or less understood the order. 

President Donald was confused at what was happening so he asked "Aren't you joining in the game?" 

President Cage turned to him with a mischievous smile curling his lips "You wouldn't want me there, enjoy your game" He then stood up and walked away with his secretaries while his assistant waited behind to carry out his Boss's order. 

"Mr Donald, After you" President Donald stood up to follow him, his mind didn't think of anything negative, so, he wasn't suspicious. His Secretary was about following but Korin glared at her.

"You aren't allowed to follow" She pouted and glanced at her boss looking aggrieved.

"You should go back to the company to take care of the files" Her boss to her, she nodded in understanding then walked away.

The remaining two also left the restaurant.

In the car, Halle had now taken over the Job of driving, while Yelena sat in the passenger's sit. They both took turns in peeping at their Boss to see what he was doing. He on the other hand was looking out the window, seeming to be deep in thought but his expression gave nothing away.

"I think you'll rather want to focus than me making you" His voice startled both girls, they quickly looked ahead. What they didn't know was that, he was never thinking of anything, he was simply looking them through the Window.

"Boss, well, about President Donald, did you actually sent him to play games or to die?" Yelena finally had the courage to ask him. She had been thinking of how to start the discussion, which was the reason she had been stealing glances at him.

Halle also turned, curiousity laced her expression. Their Boss pressed on his temple before turning back to the Window, it seems he was bored of everything happening.

"He should be able to survive if he has such a dirty mouth" His reply made both girls heart skip. 

'it's good I'm not his enemy' Yelena internally congratulated herself.

'Good thing I've never offended him' Halle also thought to herself before focusing back on the driving.

Shortly, they got back to the company and everyone went back to their offices. Yelena and Halle shared the same Office, so, they went in together.

Halle was first to slump on her seat, she pulled of her heels then wore her Crocs which was under her desk. "I knew Boss was Cruel but this is évil" She told Yelena who was opening a can of coke. 

Yelena threw another can at her before she also took her sit. "Even though he was being protective of us, that was a very brutal manner, who knows what would be the end of Mr Donald" Yelena was already feeling goosebumps creeping on her skin.

Their office door was knockéd which made their heart jump but they quickly compose themselves when they heard the voice.

"Secretary Mervick, are you in?" It was the Voice of their Business Manager, they both recognize the voice.

"Come in" Yelena replied and the door pushed open, revealing a lady who seemed to be in her late 20s, she was putting on a white shirt and Black suit pants alongside her six inch heels. She looks absolutely elegant. She had reading glasses on too.

She entered then slightly nodded at Halle who did the same before she headed to Yelena's table.

"Clara, why are you here?" Yelana asked her as it wasn't common for her to visit her at that time.

"The Sample of the new products is out and I was hoping you could help us pick which ones are better and the ones which aren't good to be produced" She handed a file to Yelena who looked through before nodding in approval. 

She dropped the file on her table before facing the Business Manager. 

"I'll look through them well later, for now I think it's good, you can leave it with me and come back Tomorrow" She replied and The Manager nodded with small smile on her face.

She looked at both ladies in the office then after noticing something, she decided to ask "Did something happen with Mr Cage today, Mr Korin isn't even back yet" Both ladies sighed as they were reminded of their problem.

"We were just stressed out, it wasn't easy, isn't that right, Halle?" Yelena replied and Halle agreed with a nod. Clara knew they weren't totally saying the truth but she couldn't bother ask. 

"Okay then, see you both at lunch" She waved at them as she went out. The two in the office also got busy as they had loads of work to do. 

In ADOR, as long as you are in the working hours, you aren't allowed to call your superiors by their first names even if they are your best friends or siblings. You have to Respect them like you will if they were strangers and it had been the rules for years. On the other hand, the superiors could call their Juniors by their given names if they wish too.

(A/N : which is why Halle and Clara calls Yelena, Secretary Mervick or Miss Mervick) 

The highest position in the company is the Chairman, who currently is on hiatus then The Vice Chairman who apparently is the President. Then the Vice president, who will be revealed later. Followed by the President's personal assistant, Then the board of directors, Then the President's Secretary and Assistant Secretary. They had higher positions than some board of directors even.

Korin drove Mr Donald to an Arena. At first glance it was a gaming site and that was what he had thought. They went in and they were given a Golden card. Golden card was a tougher rank than the Silver rank, but to Novice, it seems like a VIP card. 

 They finally got to a Gate which Squid Game was boldly written on it. Mr Donald turned to Korin to ask a question when he was knocked out.

Korin Made a gesture to the man who had knocked Mr Donald down and he was picked from the ground and carried like a sack. He was taking into a dark room where his cloth was stripped off and he was left only in briefs.  

"He shouldn't have crossed Mr Cage, who knows what he did?" One of the people in the room were pitying him. 

They turned to Korin to ask what he did but it seems the guy wasn't going to say anything to them and they couldn't dare force him to, he was their Boss's adopted Son for a reason.

Mr Donald opened his eyes and looked around in confusion as he saw himself in the middle of a ring with people around it. They seemed to be cheering for him. He shook his head then closed his eyes before opening so, his eyes could clear. He also noticed his clothes were gone, his expensive wrist watch and Designer shoe. 

 He looked ahead and noticed a Thor looking man holding an axe. He panicked and quickly stood up, he was confused as to how he got there. He looked around to find Korin and he eventually saw him at the top of the Ring, he seemed to be enjoying himself as he had on a wicked smirk.

"Why the hell did you bring me here!!!" He screamed but Korin only behaved like he didn't hear.

"Start" He ordered the Man who was holding the axe. Mr Donald slowly retreated back as he saw the Man who was moving towards him. 

"Kill him, Kill him!!!!" The people around the ring Chanted. Mr Donald was already shaking as he managed to dodge the first swing of the axe. 

 The man waved the axe at him the second time and he fell behind and that was when he noticed a Spear was actually behind him. He quickly picked up the spear to dodge the axe attack. Sweat was trickling down his body, his shorts was already wet, infact he seemed he had just emerged from the swimming pool.

"Mr Cage, I promise never to talk dirty about your Secretaries, please don't kill me" He quickly got on his knee when he finally realized what was happening. He knew he would be the owner of the arena and he must be watching the game in some way, so, he knelt. 

The Third looking man didn't give up and attacked him again. He quickly got up but the Man lifted him and hit his back on the iron gate. He felt life almost left him when he felt the pain. He was unable to stand up and he knew he was dead if he couldn't. He tried crawling but fell back, he watched as the axe slowly advanced to his neck and he closed his eyes to await his death.

"Stop" Korin suddenly said and the axe stopped the same time.

Everyone at the ring were confused as to the reason there was an order to stop but there was nothing they could do as the order came from Korin and Korin practically represented the Boss himself.
