  • Ex-Husband's Regret: The Triplet’s Revenge    Your Concerns

Anna thought about what Loveth said; the words kept echoing in her mind. "You'll be fine as long as you stay true to yourself." Loveth added, taking a sip from her cup. Anna nodded, deciding to let everything play out and hoping that she could trust her kids. "You can go to Daddy's place." Anna said as she walked out of the kitchen moments later. The triplet's face lighted up in excitement at her words as they looked up at her. "But Billy has to go with you, okay?" Anna added. "Okay," they chorused, nodding in affirmation. Anna instructed Billy to pack up the rest of the gift to their room and reiterated her instruction on following them to Simon's place later that night. "Yes, I will," Billy responded. Anna, Clayton, and Nat left the house together, heading to the Gary head office. "So, how long do we have to spend with the Gary group now?" Nat asked, glancing over at Clayton. "One more bid and we are done." Clayton responded. "Oh, that's wonderful. That means we would ha

Everywhere was filled with a bag of unopened gifts.“What is going on here?” Anna asked.“You should ask your man, but these ones are definitely loving every bit of it.” Nat whispered, nodding at the kids. Each of them held a new iPad while surrounded by some other kind of new toys.“Looks like he is going to spoil his kids for all the years he missed.” Loveth whispered too as she walked by Anna with a cup of coffee.“Well, all this is not a way to bond with your kids. He would know if he was actually trying to.” Anna muttered under her breath.“Mom, can we go to Dad's place tonight?" James asked, as if on cue.“You can’t just ask him to go to…” Anna started to say“Dad

Michael looked up and smiled at Anna, hesitating for a second before speaking.“Anna, I find myself drawn to you so much that I would like to build something meaningful from it.” Michael started.“Michael, I…” Anna started to say, pulling her hand from his.“I know this must come as a shock to you—well, it is to me too—but I can no longer deny my heart what it feels.” Michael said, interrupting her.It had taken him all the courage he could muster to bring this up to her. After that night at the conference, his feelings laid bare to him, he had tried to push it out of his mind, but it kept haunting him.“Anna?” Michael called. The waiter brought their food, so he waited till the table was served before he could speak again. She sat there in silence, staring off into a space right past his head, and he felt invincible for a moment. His thoughts had been filled with her since she left the conference, and after Clayton had mentioned she had something personal to deal with that morning, h

“What is in the envelope?” Mia asked.“Let him open it.” Noah replied. They all looked at Simon in silence, watching his expression, which had gone totally blank after taking the envelope.Simon pulled out the letter and read through the content, his brow going up not in a scowl but in anger.“What the f*ck is Uncle Paul trying to pull here?” Simon bellowed in anger. His voice echoed off the wall with so much force that Steve glanced up to be sure little Mia was nowhere in sight.“Keep it down, Simon. What the h*ll is in the letter that has gotten you so pissed off?” Steve asked.Simon extended the letter to him and started to pace, raking a hand through his hair in frustration.“What is going on? Is someone going to explain to us?” Sophia asked.“This is a joke, right? Or better still, a lame attempt at one because they can’t seriously be taking him to court.” Steve stated, trying not to shout in anger.“Court? Who is taking whom to court?” Mia asked, looking concerned now.“Paul, he

There was a pause as they all stared at each other in silence for a minute.“What are the two of you doing in a…” Steve started to ask but decided there was no point in the question. He saw the look on their faces, the awkward glance that followed, and the tension in the room.“Thank you for getting the door.” Anna said, walking past him and out the door.“Could you have been a few minutes late?” Simon asked, closing his eyes in frustration."No, I could not because while you are here doing God knows what, it’s almost past four in the afternoon.” Steve pointed out.“I had no plans to return to the office again.” Simon responded.“Well, where the h*ll is your phone?” Steve asked.“It’s with my kids,” Simon responded.Steve paused for a second at the description; it sounded personal, almost like he had succeeded in making amends with Anna.“I don’t like the expression on your face.” Simon pointed.“What, can’t a man be curious?” Steve teased.“Are you here because of the attack?” Simon

Whatever was going through his mind, she knew was about Anna. The silence in the house ever since she lost her job because of Anna was becoming really concerning.
