"It's okay. I like this job." Nina smiled like a blooming sunflower, making people feel full of sunshine.
The shop owner nodded with satisfaction. "It can be done right now. This bouquet of forget-me-nots is for Roberts Group, remember to sign for it carefully." Nina took the bouquet and walked towards Roberts Group.
"Excuse me, do you know this person?" Nina pulled the guard to point at her notebook and asked.
"Leonard Roberts. This is our general manager." The guard widened his eyes, finding it hard to believe that there was someone who didn't know the CEO of Roberts Group. The guard conveniently took out a magazine cover, on which was a picture of Leonard, a handsome face that made everyone admire.
Nina let out a soft cry, suddenly feeling a little scared. How could the first day of work be so hard? But no matter what, she couldn't give up halfway.
Nina held the large bouquet and walked into the first-floor area.
"Ma'am, please wait a moment. Who are you looking for?" She was about to take the elevator when a girl ran out to stop her.
"I'm looking for your general manager."
"Do you have an appointment?"
"I'm just delivering flowers." Nina held the bouquet in her hand.
"Sorry, if that's the case, you can leave the bouquet here, I'll give it to him."
"But I have to get his signature." Nina frowned.
"Then I really can't help." The receptionist smiled politely. "Our general manager is very busy, he doesn't usually receive janitors.
Janitorial staff? Nina was not satisfied with this way of calling. She hugged the bouquet to her body, not knowing which direction to go. Going up, she didn't know what the consequences would be. If she didn't go up, she wouldn't be able to deliver the bouquet. Couldn't she finish her first day of work? That would be too boring.
"Good afternoon, General Manager." While she was still hesitating, she suddenly heard the marketing staff behind her respectfully greet the CEO. She immediately turned around and saw a tall, strong, and sturdy figure surrounded by everyone in the elevator. Could that person be Leonard? Why did he seem so familiar? No matter what happened now, this was the best opportunity, absolutely not to be missed.
“Mr. Leonard, wait a moment.” Her petite figure was completely hidden by the huge bouquet, looking like a mobile bouquet, so when Leonard heard someone calling him, he basically couldn’t see anyone.
“Mr. Leonard, how are you?” Nina hurriedly ran to Leonard’s side, bowing 90 degrees in front of him, “Hello, I’m a florist, this is Miss Paige’s flowers for you.”
What was that woman thinking when she gave flowers to a man? Leonard frowned, didn’t even look, and went straight to the private elevator.
“Mr. Leonard. You….” Nina stood there awkwardly, an unusual anger and a hint of shame suddenly rising in her heart. This man was too arrogant.
‘I want to try and see what he can do to me. Today, I have to get his autograph.” Nina angrily sat down on the spot.
“Miss.” The receptionist started calling her again.
Nina thought she wanted to chase her away so she ignored her.
She waited for an hour, hmm, when the kindergarten was over and he still hadn't come down, she had no time to waste.
"May I ask when your general manager gets off work?" Nina ran up to the podium and asked.
"I'm saying this for your good, if our general manager gets off work, he definitely won't come here. There's a parking lot behind. If you want to wait, go there."
"Thank you." Nina nodded shyly, hugged the bouquet, and walked out. After waiting for another half an hour, Leonard still didn't come out. She couldn't wait any longer. She could only give the flowers to the receptionist, but as soon as she left, Leonard came out again.
Nina led Lucas back to the flower shop to report today's incident, and she assured him that she would get the receipt.
"Boss, don't worry. I'll get them back tomorrow."
"Yes. It's just that this CEO is always difficult to deal with, really helpless. If it doesn't work, then just leave it be. That's right, is this your child? So cute." The flower shop owner gently stroked Lucas's little head.
"Ah, just say that." Nina stammered. The flower shop owner looked at her suspiciously, wondering why she said that.
"So you're a single mother, no wonder you're struggling to come here to find a job to make money."
Nina smiled helplessly, touching Lucas's small face. "Boss, if there's nothing else, I'll go home first."
The shop owner nodded slightly.
"Mom, what does he mean by that?" Lucas asked Nina.
"Nothing," She replied calmly.
Lucas nodded, somewhat understanding and also somewhat not understanding, but his clear eyes seemed to be covered by a layer of gloomy mist.

The next day, Nina sent Lucas to kindergarten and started walking to the Roberts Group parking lot. Five minutes later, Leonard, wearing a black suit and silver tie, quickly got out of the car. The gentle sunlight surrounded him, making him even more handsome. How could this man and the man she had been hitchhiking with that day be so similar? His sharp eyes, cold face, and silver eyebrows made Nina feel scared.
“Mr. Leonard.” Her tongue curled involuntarily, and Nina ran to Leonard in confusion. “I… it’s me… I came here yesterday to deliver flowers. I asked the staff to help you receive the bouquet. Please sign for me here.” Nina handed the customer’s form to him.
Only then did Leonard stop in front of her. The girl’s innocent, cold face was visible in front of him. With a small and pretty face, innocent and clear eyes, and a height of less than 1m6, she looked like a high school student. This face seemed to be…. “General Manager, I have kept you waiting for a long time.” The beautiful assistant who had been following closely behind suddenly bumped into Nina and said, “The investors are coming, hurry up.”
Leonard looked at Nina again and completely ignored her, “Miss, I don’t understand what you are talking about, but I didn’t receive any flowers.”
“Hey, Mr. Leonard…” Nina stepped forward, intending to chase after him, but at this moment, a car rushed over.
“Be careful.” Leonard took a long step and picked her up. The dazzling sunlight was blinding, the warmth in her heart accumulated, and the past events were instantly suspended, Nina only felt her head hit hard and lost consciousness.
Who knew whose sturdy back it was, her head hurt, it hurt so much that her back felt like it was about to crack.
“Adrian..” She couldn’t help but mumble to herself.
Her eyes astound. "Goodness."His eyes were enthralled at her blush as he pressed a few kisses to her warm cheek. "Are we blushing, my love?" Her fingers tickling his neck as he giggled in her skin. "I don't blush, Emery." Tilting her head, his mouth pressed on hers. "Liar." Rising, she leaned against the footboard of the couch while patting the place beside her after keeping a cushion against the board. "Come here."Emery eyes softened, as Hatice found him beside her; keeping her cushion to her back, and draping the blanket over their legs, as his arm draped behind her on the couch where her head laid on his shoulder; their eyes gleaming at the flames of daylight in the hushed silence around them yet the chaos of nature aloud, made it relaxing in tranquility. "Do you miss home?" "I thought it was me." Hatice gave him a squinted stare, and Emery chuckled, reaching out to pinch her cheekbone with an adoring smile; it shone in the flames of daylight, "You're my breath, my Hatice," His
Her eyes were in awe at her husband's endearment. That beautiful awe of her eyes was being admired by him; enthralled, and completely enchanted in her glow of his wife's gloomy eyes with a light, and it felt like his entire world was in the brightness, where her almond onyx eyes in gleam roaming around for him; the corner of his lips turned upward, until, those eyes eased in relief, and glow the moment she found him, as her heart fluttered, finding him in his cozy hoodie; sweatpants, leaned his shoulder against the threshold of the kitchen with crossed arms while staring at her. Captivation. Glow. Affection. Their eyes glistening in the flames of amber daylight in the golden darkness; warm and pulling as leaning away, Emery was striding towards her, where Hatice wrapped her arms around his shoulders as her face snuggled into his hooded neck where he was lifting her to stand on his socked feet; kissing the side of her head, as leaning her head back, Hatice stared at him with a softe
"No point!" Her voice slightly raised, and his eyes remained gentle; she knew to her sudden frustration, where it held the sadness of her moist eyes, "We only have a few days here, and now I'll be struggling with this, and everything is ruined already!" Slamming the mug on the table, Hatice leaned back with crossed arms as her abdomen ached, doubling her frustration and sadness as her lips twisted. "And I'm not in the state of listening to anything."Emery's eyes softened at her frown with a throb of enduring her pain: his understanding was intact to their remaining days getting spent in discomfort, where her voice raises weren't so insulting to him as it was yet another frustration of her pain; frustration and sadness which had happened before and now he was used to it, as Emery always gives her a space, right now too, without any words, Hatice felt his hand holding her cheeks from her chin side, leaning in to press a kiss on her crown. "I'll be in the room; call me if you need anyt
