•LUCIUS•

“We’ve finished organizing your clothes in the closet, sir. We followed the closet style you requested, and if anything is not up to your standard, you may call for a reorganization.”

“Thank you so much,” I smiled at her. “Here, this is your tip for all the work you’ve done.”

I handed her five hundred dollars as a tip for their wonderful work, and she nodded before leaving my home office.

When the door closed behind her, I sat on the couch and exhaled.

Sasha was gone, and our divorce was on hold because I still could not grant her what she wanted.

I felt she wanted so much from me, and I couldn’t give her everything. Not when it meant I would have to share all my inheritance in half with her.

My cell phone rang, and I hesitated to answer the call from my assistant, reluctant to answer anything about business.

“Yes?” I answered.

It was too damn early for her call, and it was Saturday. I was supposed to have the whole day at home and work out my next plan with Sasha.

•CAMILLA•Finally, the truth was out, and I was happy when I saw the look on Cecilia’s face that she could no longer deceive people about my identity.I didn’t really care that she took things that far, though. But I also didn’t like that she wanted Casey to take over my life as if she were planning something she didn’t tell me about. Now that things were in the open, her plans would also be in the open, and I would know why she wanted me to hide my identity.Sasha’s backstory with my late uncle, Albert, was the only article left.“Are you alright?” Santino looked concerned after Cecilia and my brothers left the house.I smiled as he took my hand and caressed it. “Yeah, I’m fine,” I exhaled. “I should’ve done this a long time ago. I don’t know why I let her get away with this for so long.”“She won’t do anything anymore. Whatever she and Casey were planning to do will no longer happen. I saw the article, and if you’re the one who got it published, I’m very proud of you.”“Annika gave

•SANTINO•“Did you kill him?”“Yes, I killed him. I’m sure you don’t want me to tell you how much he was screaming, begging for the fire to go off. He died crying for his mother.”I sat down, facing him as he sat chained to the chair, barely recognizable from the beating my men had given him.“You’re a dead man, Santino!” He snarled. “I’m going to avenge my son’s life and kill you! I’ll make you pay, you asshole!”I chuckled.“That’s funny, chief. You’re chained to the chair, and I plan to kill you tonight. So, how are you going to avenge your son? I’m not a punk to bring you here and let you go unharmed.”“If you want to kill me, then get it over with. If you take your time and my men find you, you’ll be dead. I have a tracking device in my system, and whether you keep me here alive or dead, they’ll come for you.”“I’m counting on that,” I smirked. “You know, you wouldn’t be here if Naeve didn’t threaten to tell you the truth. She made me realize I had to cut the loose ends because I

•CAMILLA•“How can I trust you? We haven’t gotten along for years, and you know it. You might be here because of Cecilia to get something from me.”“Ugh.” She rolled her eyes with a groan. “Why would I waste my time coming here and meeting you when I want something from you? I’m sure you know I can get any information I want from anyone.”I took my purse and stood up from the chair, ready to leave because she knew we had no reason to be in the same room.“I’m sorry, but I can’t sit here and listen to this anymore. You’re as capable as Sasha and Cecilia are to stab me in the back, and I won’t let that happen anymore.”She stood up and frowned as she looked at me. “Can you get off your high horse for a minute?! I’m trying to help here! I know how much she hurt you and this family. If you want to walk away, you can go. But I hope you know I tried to help you get back at her for what she did to you. I know she married Lucius three days after you left New York.”I gulped.Luckily, she book

•CAMILLA•“Hey buddy, please wait for me in the game room, and we will play one game before bed. What do you say?”Nico looked at me as if seeking approval of his father’s request. I chuckled because he had never asked me for permission before.“Mom?”“You’ll get an hour before bath time. So, go.” I rolled my eyes with a chuckle, and he hurried out the door.Santino groaned as he got off the bed and leaned toward me. His tall frame towered over me, and his woody cologne caused my stomach to flutter.“Do you know how hurt I was when you took Reyna’s side instead of mine?” He asked.“I know, but I wanted to help. I thought that’s what you wanted when you told me about her. You didn’t expect me not to say anything and do nothing when you told me you weren’t getting along with her, did you?”“That’s what I expected. If Reyna and I could be on good terms, it would’ve happened a long time ago. She’s been in and out of my life, and I didn’t want you to raise your opinions on that when you kn

•CECILIA•“What the fuck is this, Cecilia?” Daniel frowned after closing the door in my home office.I looked at the envelope in his hand and realized that it was his pay slip and that he wasn’t happy about it.“What?”“How dare you reduce my payment to this? Do you know how much I was earning as the director and CEO of the Imperial Group?” He asked as he leaned closer.“Oh, please, Daniel, that’s excellent pay as the CEO of the Imperial Group. You’re still making more than an average CEO in America.”“I’ve worked my ass off for this group!” He snarled. “I made sure I earned every penny I was making, and I won’t let you rob me of years of my hard work.”“I am the director, Danny, so I decide how much each person earns. Besides, you’ve not done any work befitting two hundred million dollars this month. You earned this money, and arguing with me won’t help you with anything, to be honest.”“Don trusted me with the group and would’ve never made you the director, even in his grave. He knew
