Atlas’s throat tightened. They had known each other since he was seven and spent ten years together—until he was taken abroad at seventeen. When he finally returned, everything had changed.
By the time he had the means to look for her, he discovered that Naomi had started an online account—one that initially gained popularity through cursing him.
Her very first video accused her childhood sweetheart of betraying her by leaving the country, painting herself as the abandoned victim.
The second video outright scolded him, calling him a heartless man. She even swore that if they ever met again, she would slap him.
Yet, when they finally did meet again, she simply ignored him. At that moment, he would have preferred a slap—ten slaps even—if it meant she acknowledged him.
There were over a dozen videos, all ranting about him.
Then, one day, she stopped speaking in her videos. She simply danced.
And one day, even those videos stopped.
It wasn't until he returned that he realized—she had stopped because she got married.
During those years without her, those videos and old childhood photos were all he had to hold onto.
"Naomi, you had a dance account. If you want to continue dancing, I'll help you get it back."
"Okay!" Naomi agreed without hesitation. After all, she had always loved dancing.
"Oh, right! Atty, I bought you a casual outfit. It's really nice. Do you want to try it on?"
Atlas's brows twitched. She bought him clothes?
"Did you get anything for yourself?"
Naomi felt a warmth in her heart. "No, I only had time to pick something for you. I also ran into two crazy women in the process."
Atlas’s expression turned cold and sharp. "Why didn’t you mention that earlier? Did they hurt you?"
As he spoke, his gaze swept over her, checking for any injuries. Dressed in a strappy dress, she was making it all too easy for him to inspect her.
Naomi's face flushed. "I'm fine! Not a single scratch. But Atty, do I know someone with the name Kael? Those two women kept mentioning Kael to me."
The room fell silent. Atlas felt a sharp pang in his chest.
"It’s probably Kael Rhodes, the CEO of Rhodes Corp. He’s my rival," he admitted. He didn’t want to lie to her, so he kept it simple.
In reality, if not for Naomi, he wouldn’t have even considered Kael worthy of being called a rival.
Naomi hadn’t expected this answer.
"Oh? So he's your arch-nemesis? Hmph! Then I hate him too! His sisters are awful as well!"
Watching her stand so firmly on his side, Atlas’s lips curled into a satisfied smile. "Didn’t you buy me an outfit? Should I try it on?"
"Oh, right!"
It was a casual outfit. Atlas’s eyes darkened slightly as he took the clothes and headed into the dressing room. Meanwhile, Naomi sat in a swivel chair, bored as she waited.
About five minutes later, the man stepped out, now dressed. When Naomi saw him, her gaze froze.
Atlas was still wearing his dress pants. Normally, this wouldn’t be a matching outfit, but somehow, he still made it look effortlessly stylish.
Naomi’s eyes sparkled like stars. “Atty, I really struck gold.”
“Huh?”
He didn’t quite understand what she meant.
A radiant light flashed through the girl’s breathtaking eyes. “Of course, I mean I found you! You’re my treasure.”
Naomi had a knack for sweet words, and today, Atlas felt like he was the happiest he had ever been. “You’re my treasure too.”
They exchanged smiles.
They had lunch in the office, a meal personally ordered by Jay. Afterward, Naomi took a nap in Atlas’s lounge. Feeling a bit bored when she woke up, she decided to step out for some fresh air.
At the same time, the man, who had been immersed in his work, conveniently looked up. “Bored?”
“Yeah. Atty, I want to go see our parents.”
Atlas immediately knew she wasn’t referring to his parents—after all, his mother had passed away. But from what he understood, Naomi had some conflicts with her family, all because of Kael.
Still, he wouldn’t stop her. A little girl shouldn’t have to cut ties with her family over anyone. And he was certain that Mr. And Mrs. Swift still loved her. Maybe this was the opportunity they needed.
“Alright, I’ll have someone take you.”
“Okay, I want to go straight to Swift Group.”
Naomi didn’t reject his offer, and soon, she was in Atlas’s car, heading toward Swift Group. After she left, the man stared at the same page of his document for a long, long time.
Once she returned home, with Mr. Swift’s sharp insight, he’d surely notice something was off about Naomi. Atlas knew he was taking advantage of the situation, but since fate had brought them back together, he wouldn’t let her go again.
...
This time, the receptionist was someone Naomi remembered.
“Miss Swift?!”
The receptionist recognized her instantly. Mr. Swift often brought his daughter to the company, but in the past few years, for some reason, the young lady rarely came around.
Since Naomi’s marriage to Kael had been kept a secret, no one knew she was already married.
“Hi, Aline. My dad’s upstairs, right?”
The woman, called Aline, instinctively nodded. It had been years, and yet, Miss Swift had grown even more beautiful.
Naomi smiled and took the CEO’s private elevator straight to the 26th floor.
The employees on the floor were diligently working when, all of a sudden, they saw the CEO’s elevator open in broad daylight.
For a moment, they thought they were hallucinating.
Wasn’t the CEO still in his office?
“Miss Swift!”
It was Valir, Mr. Swift’s long-time assistant, who recognized her first.
Naomi glanced around. Some faces were familiar, some weren’t.
“Uncle Valir, is my dad in his office?”
Having worked alongside Maldric Swift for decades, Valir knew more than anyone that the young lady had fallen out with her father after getting married. For almost two years, they hadn’t spoken.
Both were stubborn, neither willing to back down. But why had Miss Swift suddenly come back today?
Valir’s eyes widened. Could it be that the Rhodes family had sent her here to ask the CEO for money again?
Naomi had no idea what was running through Valir’s mind. Without hesitation, she walked straight toward the CEO’s office.
In her memory, it felt like just yesterday that she had last seen her father. But strangely, his face had become somewhat blurry in her mind.
Suddenly, the office door was pushed open. The middle-aged man inside, busy working, frowned deeply...

Atlas had no idea what Melvin was freaking out about—his attention was entirely focused on the woman standing at the top of the stairs. She wore a red halter-neck dress that swept all the way to the floor, just barely revealing a glimpse of silver heels as she moved. Because of the neckline design, she wore no necklace, letting her collarbones shine on their own. Her hair was styled in big, loose curls that fell effortlessly over her shoulders.Naomi looked down at herself, slightly pouting when she saw him just staring. Was it not pretty? No way. She had just checked herself in the mirror and thought she looked absolutely stunning! Ugh, straight guy aesthetics. She shouldn't have asked Atty for his opinion.Just then, the man finally moved. She watched as he walked straight up to her, put his arm around her waist, and said in a low voice, “Naomi, you look stunning.”A flush of pink crept across her cheeks, and she tugged at the c
Mrs. Smith had done it on purpose.Back then, she had genuinely wanted the two families to become in-laws. Who would’ve thought those two would treat her son like a backup plan, all while secretly looking down on the Smith? If it hadn’t been for a friend telling her that Kalea was aiming to marry into the Knox or Anderson families, she would’ve been kept in the dark for who knows how long.Luckily, her son had already fallen in love with the Webers daughter. The two had been dating for quite some time—they just hadn’t had the courage to tell the family. Otherwise, she really would’ve made a mistake with the best intentions. So today, she was deliberately mocking the two of them.“Oh my, how come we haven’t seen your daughter-in-law around?” she asked, feigning concern.Other people might not know that Naomi and Kael were married, but the elite families certainly did.Jovita wasn&rsqu
Kael’s eyes flickered at Danna’s words, as if something had just occurred to him, and his expression turned grim.“Danna, you know I’m married.”Yes, he was married—forced into it, like his marriage had been bought with money. As if that woman marrying him was her way of humiliating him. That’s why, all these years, he hadn’t even touched her. He had sworn to return that humiliation one day.Danna cried even harder. “Kael, you know I don’t care. I really don’t care.”And with that, she kissed him.Kael froze. Instinctively, a certain woman back home popped into his mind. He was about to push Danna away. But when he felt the tears on her face, he hesitated—and in that moment of hesitation, Kael made the mistake he would regret for the rest of his life.…Back in Elaris, Naomi had no idea any of this was happening. A director had reached out to h
Naomi didn’t receive Jovita’s call until the afternoon. She had filmed a video in the morning, edited and uploaded it, had lunch, and then took a nap—only to be woken up by the ringing phone.“Hello, who is this?”Still drowsy, her voice was a little hoarse. Combined with her sleepy tone, her words sounded weak. But in Jovita’s ears, it was as if Naomi had really cheated on her son.“Well, well, you little tramp. I was wondering why you blocked me—turns out you’re off sneaking around with other men! Just wait till I beat the hell out of you!”Sitting beside her, Kalea naturally heard the voice from the call. She had only been making baseless accusations, assuming that Naomi wouldn’t cheat because she loved her brother. But that voice—how could it not spark people’s imagination? So her brother really got cheated on.Naomi was fully awake now after
It was late spring. A gentle breeze drifted through the floor-to-ceiling windows, stirring the sheer curtains and sending delicate ripples through the air.In that tranquil setting, Naomi began to dance. Her movements were hesitant at first, a little stiff, but as the music wrapped around her, she found her rhythm—graceful, fluid, as though she and the melody had become one. When the final note faded, she made a few light edits and, with a quiet sense of fulfillment, clicked upload. Her username: N.14Comments started pouring in:“Oh my god, what did I just see?! She actually posted a new video! I can't believe it!”“It’s been nine years. N.14, you finally remembered this account existed!”“What a treasure! Her dancing has soul.”“By the way, does anyone know who Atlas is?”
Naomi looked at her parents in confusion. All she did was kiss Atlas, right?Atlas gently held Naomi’s hand and said, “Naomi, can I talk to your parents alone?”Naomi looked at him, then at her parents sitting on the couch, and nodded before heading upstairs.“Have a seat!” Madelyn looked at the handsome and elegant Atlas. Time really flew—this kid had grown up so much!Atlas glanced at Madelyn and pressed his lips together. In his heart, Auntie Madelyn had always been like a second mother to him.Back then, both mothers had even thought about becoming sworn sisters, but later, his own mother had said that if they became sworn sisters, they couldn’t become in-laws—so they gave up on the idea.“Uncle, Auntie, whatever you want to ask, I’ll tell you everything I know.”Maldric looked at the man in front of him. He had once thought this boy would become his son-in-law, but
Naomi didn’t know how to respond. She wasn’t even sure what exactly she’d forgotten. The people who mattered—she remembered them just fine. Her parents. Atlas. Her older brother. Was there anyone else she’d forgotten? She genuinely couldn’t recall.“Daddy, I don’t know… I remember my brother, you and Mom, and Atty. Isn’t that enough? Everyone else doesn’t really matter anyway.”Maldric almost blurted out, ‘What about Kael Rhodes?’But he stopped himself. It was obvious—his daughter had forgotten all about Kael. His thoughts were spinning. He couldn’t quite piece it together.“Naomi… so aside from your parents and brother, the only other person you remember is Atlas?”“No, of course not! I still remember Uncle Kay, and Uncle Valir who’s always with you. Auntie Winnie who coo
Maldric never expected to see his own daughter standing there.Naomi simply watched as her father’s expression shifted—from surprise to shock, then confusion, longing...And then, all of it vanished, leaving behind a completely indifferent face.“What brings you here today? Did your husband get into trouble again?”That’s right. In Maldric’s mind, ‘husband’ still referred to Kael.In the past, the only times his daughter ever sought him out were when Kael needed financial support. That was why he had hardened his heart. He knew all too well that the Rhodes family was using his daughter as leverage. But his daughter loved Kael, so he could only remain firm. As long as he was around, as long as Swift Group stood, Kael and his family would never dare mistreat her.Yet today, there was a hint of sarcasm in his tone that Naomi hadn’t noticed before.Wait—did he think Atty g
