THE NEXT DAY, Adriano's mind was still troubled. He had wanted to tell Avery about his supposed date with Nadia, but he kept himself from releasing the news to her. He did not know how she would take it, and the date was not a big deal.

But was that not the main reason why he should have come clean about it?

Now, because of his behavior, it seemed like he was hiding something. Like an affair.

He decided to have breakfast alone without his father or Iris, because he needed that time to think on his next plan of action. As he finished his cup of tea, Fabio walked into the dining hall. "Youre having breakfast alone?" Fabio asked. "Now thats just sad." He sat down beside Adriano and crossed his ankle over a knee.

"Avery is still asleep, i didnt want to wake her." Adriano lied.

Fabio snorted and nodded. He poured a cup of tea for himself, taking a sip and keeping his eye on Adriano's face.

"What is it?" Adriano snapped when he got irritated at Fabio's contact stare.
