ADRIANO HAD BEEN filled with suspense all through the morning. His mind was rolling and he did something he had never done before - cancel the board meetings for that morning, and as if that was not out of character enough, he used one of his company papers and wrote a handwritten letter. A love letter. Like he was a teenage high school kid confessing his love to his crush.

He waited all morning for the feedback from the furniture guys he had sent to her office. He was partially expecting her to be obstinate like before and reject everything, but he was surprised when, after an hour, they called him to say everything went as planned.
