Rose’s POV

A gunshot echoed in my ears—loud and close. For a moment there, I thought that I had been shot, only that I wasn’t feeling any pain.

The men who were assaulting me looked up as well in surprise before they stood up and drew their guns—Pointing to the direction where the shots had come from.

Lifting my face slightly, I scanned around. Then I saw him –Adrian pointing his two guns on the three people “Try anything and I’ll blow your brains before you even pull the fucking trigger “He yelled with a murderous stare in his eyes.

His voice was a sweet music to my ear. I never thought that I’d have a chance to hear him speak again.
