I held my face as I stared at the woman in shock. I ‘ve never seen her in my life but the hate in her eyes puzzled me.

“You slut! How dare you seduce my husband? “She lashed out at me violently.

“Are you kidding me? Did you just hit me?” I stared daggers at her as I asked—rubbing my stinging cheeks.

“You want more? Is that it? I’m so tired of women like you trying to take what isn’t theirs “she continued to lament with eyes dark as night.

I suddenly remembered the man who tried to approach me yesterday and my face creased with furry – not because I was angry but because of my bad luck.

I sneered.

I clenched my teeth so hard trying to control my impulse not to gorge her eyes out.
