The Cigarettes mansion loomed ahead like a shadow at the edge of the city.

Soon, the thick black steel gates groaned open as the guards let her in.

The young waitress, had what she needed to clear her name from Giovanni’s black book and was here to clear out her name.

She kept her head down, clutching the folded paper so tightly her fingers had gone pale.

She knew she had no choice… the threat Giovanni made still echoed in her ears. If she didn’t bring him something useful, her life and her family’s would be forfeit.

And she couldn't let that happen.

The grand marble steps felt heavier than mountains to her, as she climbed up, she was escorted by two men in dark suits.

The moment the doors opened, the thick scent of cigar smoke reached her nostrils, mingling with the scent of expensive cologne. The lavish hall glittered with chandeliers and paintings worth more than her entire existence.
